West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination [WBJEE]
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board conducts an entrance examination every year to assess students to different undergraduate programs in engineering and pharmacy in West Bengal. A total of 36,000 seats are available in the entrance test's participating colleges.
Currently, for the appeared candidates, there are machine-read responses, and WBJEE OMR sheets will be released. On the official website, candidates can log in and access the same.
As the WBJEE application process, candidates will be uploading the signature, photograph, and thumb impression only. The test will be conducted across different states of Tripura, Assam, and West Bengal. The examination will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates should make sure to bring the admit card during the examination. Candidates qualifying for this screening test are considered eligible for direct admission to various government and private engineering colleges in West Bengal.
The cut-off determines the choice for a specific course made by the candidates. - Candidates should have appeared or passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam from the state or central board of Education.
- The applicants must obtain a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for the general category (40% aggregate marks for the reserved category) in the 12th examination.
- For admission to the Jadavpur University, candidates should have 60% marks for the general category and 55% for the reserved category.
- The candidates should have chosen Physics, Chemistry, and any mathematics/biology/biotechnology/computer science as compulsory subjects in the 12th examination.
WBJEE 2025 Application Form & fees
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state-level entrance examination held in the month of April 2025. WBJEE 2025 application form will be available from 24th December. Interested applicants shall apply online on the official site. WBJEE Board organizes this entrance test every year. Qualified candidates in the entrance exam shall apply and get admissions for various UG courses in Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology, and Architecture.
- WBJEEB will begin the WBJEE 2025 application process from 24th December 2025.

WBJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To get admission for the courses through WBJEE, applicants need to know WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria. Candidates who fit the eligibility conditions will be eligible to apply for WBJEE. A few basic eligibility norms include General Eligibility and Qualification Eligibility, Age Limit, Nationality, etc.
General Eligibility:
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit for applicants applying for the course should be 17 years as of 31st December 2023. Applying student should have been born on or before 31st December 2004.
Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for other courses. However, the upper age limit for marine engineering will be 25 years as of 31st December 2025.
Qualification Eligibility (For Engineering):
Candidates should have passed the 10+2 level or its equivalent exam, recognized by the State Government or Central Government concerned. Students in class 12th must-have chosen Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects. And anyone from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and Computer Application & Computer Science having secured a minimum of 45% and above aggregate. Applicant should have qualified English at 10+2 level with at least 30% marks.
Qualification Eligibility (For Pharmacy):
Students who completed the 12th level in the science stream from a recognized university will be eligible for the entrance examination. Students should have opted for Physics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects and one among Biology/ Biotechnology/ Mathematics/ Computer Science & computer applications. The minimum aggregate required will be no less than 45% marks for general category candidates, while for reserved category students, the aggregate required is 40%.
How to Fill WBJEE 2025 Application Form?
Step 1: WBJEE 2025 Registration Process
- Visit the WBJEE official site.
- Click on the button "Registration for WBJEE 2025".
- On the main page Registration form will be displayed.
- Enter applicants Names, Father's Names, Mother's Names, Gender, Date of Birth, Address, Identification type and number, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
- Choose a password and security question, then answer, review the form, and click submit.
- The applicant's application number will also be displayed and sent to candidates through SMS and email.
Step 2: WBJEE 2025 Application Form Fill Up
- Candidates will have to enter their personal and educational information in the application form.
- Fill in your category, domicile, PwD status, family income, home district, nationality, religion, and other details asked.
- As per the applicant's preference, they can choose 3 WBJEE 2025 Exam centres to submit the form.
Step 3: Photograph and Signature Uploading
- Students have to upload scanned images of their photograph (passport size) and signature (size 3kb to 30kb).
- The candidate's photograph should also be recently taken to match the candidate's physical features.
Step 4: WBJEE 2025 Application Fee Payment
- After uploading the documents, the applicant will be redirected to the payment page.
- WBJEE 2025 application fee can be paid through Debit Card/Credit Card or Net Banking.
- Once paid under any circumstances, application form fees will not be refunded.

- In category 3, one or more options can be correct, and each correct answer will yield 2 marks. There is no negative marking for this category.

WBJEE 2025 Results & Score Card
Results for WBJEE 2025 will be announced via online mode, and candidates will check their results on the official website. The authority will release the WBJEE 2025 results by the 3rd week of May 2025. Before announcing the results, the exam authority will release the WBJEE 2025 Answer Key.
The WBJEE results include the total marks, an individual score of each subject, and overall rank.

WBJEE 2025 Counselling & Admission
The WBJEE 2025 counseling process will begin after the declaration of the results. The counseling will be held online, and there will be three rounds. Separate counseling is undertaken for candidates who have qualified for JEE Main entrance examinations online. WBJEE 2025 Counselling registration will begin by the last week of May 2025.

Is it possible to submit the WBJEE 2025 Application form via offline mode?
Details on the Application form:
- Submission of the Application form has to be done via online mode.
- The application form will be made available on the official website through online mode only.
- So the candidates can fill in all the details and make the payment via online mode itself.
- Acknowledgment Form copy has to be kept for future reference.
- There is no option for submitting the application form via offline mode.
At the time of WBJEE 2025 Application form registration, which all documents are needed? Is it a compulsion to upload the required documents?

Actually, I have misplaced my WBJEE 2025 Admit Card, so how will I attend the online Counseling process?
- Admit Card is very much necessary till the admission process gets over.
- Aspirants need to produce the original Admit card at the time of the Counselling process.
- If the candidate has misplaced the Admit card, he/she is required to collect the Duplicate admit card and make the required payment of Rs 500.
- Then the admit card can be produced during the Counseling process.
If I’m not able to re-upload the correct scanned image of photograph or signature, will my WBJEE 2025 Application be accepted or not?
- An application form will not be accepted if the candidate wouldn’t re-upload the scanned images of the photo or signature in a prescribed manner.
- Admit cards will not be given to the candidate if the Application form filled is not in proper format as per the guidelines.
