XAT is a competitive management exam at the national level. Most management colleges accept XAT scores for admissions for MBA or PGDM programs. XAT 2023 exam will be organized on January 8, 2023. The XAT exam has multiple sections: Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, Decision Making, Essay Section, GK section, and Verbal and Logical ability. Here is the exam pattern section, along with the important topics of the exam.
XAT 2023 Quantitative Ability
XAT 2023 Quantitative Ability exam pattern will include verbal and quantitative questions. The Quant section of the exam will be made up of 28 questions. These will be broken into individual and group questions, with three to four questions per set. The level of difficulty in the Quant section will be moderate to difficult. XAT 2023 Data Interpretation
The XAT 2023 Data Interpretation syllabus includes four major subjects and an essay writing section. The essay writing section will be evaluated after a candidate is shortlisted for the PI round. The XAT Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation syllabus covers the major topics and DI sets based on graphs. In addition, part 2 includes a decision-making section designed to assess problem-solving abilities. The exam will have seven sets of three questions to judge the candidate's ability to analyze a given situation.
XAT 2023 Essay section
In the Essay section, the length will be three hours and ten minutes. This section was previously excluded from the XAT Exam Pattern but reintroduced for the 2023 exam. As a result, the XAT exam duration will be three hours and ten minutes, with 165 minutes allotted for the Part 1 section and 25 minutes allotted for the Essay section. The XAT 2023 Exam Pattern hasn't changed much from previous years, but candidates should prepare according to the previous years' format to ensure success.
The XAT 2023 Essay section has been reintroduced after the recent changes to the exam pattern. There will be no breaks, and the total number of questions will be no more than 101. The XAT 2023 Essay section syllabus and exam pattern contain topics related to the five areas covered in Part B. XAT 2023 GK section

XAT 2023 Logical Ability
XAT 2023 Logical Ability exam pattern includes questions on critical reasoning and analytical topics, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and argumentation. It also includes questions on data interpretation, decision-making, and moral dilemmas. The syllabus is divided into five parts, each worth about one-third of the total paper.
The exam pattern is the same as XAT 2022, but the syllabus is slightly different. The exam is held in the first week of January. The XAT 2023 question paper will be in MCQ format. XAT 2023 Decision-making
XAT 2023 Decision-making syllabus is divided into two parts. Part 1 comprises 75 questions, while Part 2 consists of 25 questions. To prepare for this XAT, you need to solve a sample paper. It will help familiarize you with the exam paper's pattern and improve your performance section-wise and overall.
It is possible to change your response or leave the exam room. However, you cannot go back to a question you have answered incorrectly. The new section of the exam consists of numerical questions. The answers to these questions are entered using a virtual keypad.
