VNSGU Surat Cutoff

VNSGU is located in Surat and offers admission to UG, PG and professional courses. The University is famous for the high admission standards based on cut-off marks in Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and other related exams. In the cases of MBA, MBBS, PG medical programs, MCA, and others, VNSGU sets a cut-off of percentile or rank depending on the category and exam scores achieved by the students.

MBA program at VNSGU is very popular and in the new academic year 2025 the expected percentile of general category students as per CMAT score range is between 97 to 99. It is observed with an increase in previous years. The cut-off for the general category for the present year is around 9,910,034 - 9,910,045 rank. This, therefore, tells us that this institution is very competitive. And aspiring students who want to be selected for this prestigious institution must secure high marks.

According to the VNSGU, aspirants belonging to the general category should secure between 98.9 to 99.2 percentile in the NEET to qualify themselves for the MBBS program in the year 2025. The ranks for MBBS have also changed in the last few years. Moreover, last year's general category cut-off rank was 9,920.

Likewise, VNSGU's PG medical courses like MD and MS programs, have different cut-offs fixed under different categories. These are for one or the other specialization. For instance, the MD in Anaesthesiology for the general category candidate was offered to students with a cut-off rank of 13,208 in 2024. Whereas the MS General Surgery was offered to general candidates at a cut-off rank of 2,537 respectively.

For the MCA program, the cut-off percentile expected for 2025 is 90%-95% for the general category. This evaluation is done based on CMAT scores. Similar trends are observed in the cut-off ranks for the previous years. These trends show that there is a need for hard work and dedication in order to be admitted to VNSGU.
