The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released Combined Medical Services Exam Admit Card for the upcoming examination that is held on October 22, 2020. Computer based examination followed by personality test is held for the selection of candidates to Combined Medical Services.
This is a computer-based exam comprising two objective papers carrying 250 marks each. There is negative marking for every wrong answer so candidates with one incorrect answer will be deducted with 0.33 (one third) marks assigned to that particular question.
UPSC Combined Medical Services Exam Admit Card will be available in the online mode that is in the official portal. Candidates who have successfully filled the UPSC CMS application form along with application fees and submitted the same shall download the admit card to appear in the exam. Applicants need to log in by providing the registration number and password. However, UPSC will not take any initiation in sending the admit card through the post.
On the examination day UPSC will announce the password at 9.20 am for forenoon session and the aspirants shall be able to open the secure browser to read instructions from 9.20 am to 9.30 am. Similarly, for afternoon session the password will be given at 1.50 pm from 1.50 pm to 2 pm candidates are required to read the instructions. Candidates will not be allowed to start their examination before 9.30 am for forenoon session and 2 pm for afternoon session.
Steps to download UPSC CMS Admit Card
Step 1: Visit the UPSC official website
Step 2: On the main page select the admit card link visible at the right-hand side.
Step 3: Choose any of the given two options – Provide the registration number or roll number
Step 4: Enter registration ID and date of birth then click on submit
Step 5: Download the UPSC CMS admit card and check for the details given in the card
