University of Calcutta NIRF Rankings 2021 was 11^th  Rank

The University of Calcutta (Calcutta University) was established in 1857, and it is India's oldest University. It is the first multidisciplinary university in Asia. More than 151 Colleges have been affiliated with Calcutta University. It has a total of 14 Campuses. It has been recognized as 5 Star University. NAAC accredits Calcutta University with an "A" Grade. It has also gained the status from UGC as Centre with Potential for Excellence. Calcutta University has been recognized at the national and international levels for its outstanding academic achievements. University of Calcutta NIRF Rankings for 2021 is 4^thin University Category and 11^th Rank in Overall Category. Whereas in 2020 NIRF Rankings, it was positioned in 11^th and secured 12^th Rank in 2019. Thus, CU featured among NIRF Top 15 Universities in the Overall Category for three consecutive years. Apart from NIRF Rankings, CU successfully accomplished awards and rankings in various platforms such as QS World Rankings, Outlook, US News and ARUW.

In the QS World University Rankings 2021, the University of Calcutta was ranked between 801-1200 on a global scale. It has secured 134 in Asia, and 68 in the BRICS nation. As per UNI Rank Survey, CU accomplished 3^rd Place among all the leading Universities in West Bengal.

This University has 65 departments, including agriculture, arts, commerce, social welfare, business management, journalism and library science, engineering and technology, fine arts, music, home science, law and science, etc. The University of Calcutta Admission can be done online on the official website. University of Calcutta NIRF Rankings

At the National level, Calcutta University has recognized the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), which the MHRD Government of India has approved. NIRF determine the final ranking by compiling the scores of each parameter.

• University of Calcutta NIRF Rankings 2021 was 11^th  Rank in the overall category. Whereas in University Category, CU was featured among NIRF Top 5 Universities, by securing 4^th Rank.
• As of 2020 NIRF Rankings, CU secured 11^th Rank in the Overall Category. And in 2019 NIRF Rankings, it was positioned in 12^th Place.
• By seeing the NIRF Rank graph of CU, we can conclude it is one of the topmost NIRF Ranked Universities in India.
• Under University Category, CU managed to be among the Top 5 Universities. Whereas under the Overall category, it managed to be among the Top 15 Institutions in India.
