Engineering is a subject that involves the application of science, mathematics, technological skills, and knowledge about the economy and agriculture. Many students opt for engineering, and engineering is the most pursued course.
To get into a good engineering college and pursue this course, you must write a competitive entrance exam. Some of those exams are listed below with major details.
The National Testing Academy conducts JEE Main. It is an entrance test for engineering to get into the best colleges in India. Undergraduates use the JEE Main ranking to get admission to elite Colleges. Students from 11th and 12th science backgrounds apply for this test. The main subjects include physics, chemistry, and biology. There are 2 paper patterns: one for those aspiring to pursue BE, B.TECH, and the second paper is for those candidates interested in studying B.ARCH and B. PLANNING.
This test is about 3 hours long, and students can take it online or offline. Each section of paper 1 has 30 questions. PWDs are granted an extra hour to complete the test.
