TNEA 2023 Registration

At tneaonline.org, DTE has begun registrations for TNEA counselling 2023. TNEA is a state-level admission process. Therefore, candidates must apply for TNEA counselling to be eligible for admission to the B Tech at various Government, Government Aided Engineering Colleges and private engineering colleges affiliated with Anna University.

However, the last date to apply for TNEA 2023 is June 4 2023. Thus, applicants who wish to enrol in various B.Tech courses must complete the TNEA 2023 application form-filling procedure before the deadline. Before completing the application form, candidates are urged to review the qualifying requirements. The TNEA  application process includes registration, application form filling based on 12^th marks, document uploading, and payment of required fees.

Once the TNEA 2023 application process concludes, Anna University will create the TNEA 2023 merit list by considering the applicant's marks obtained in 10+2. Later, Students can participate in TNEA Counselling in the order of merit rank. TNEA Engineering Counselling 2023 will begin from August to September.

TNEA 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Each applicant must review the TNEA 2023 eligibility requirements before applying for TNEA 2023. Only applicants who meet the minimum requirements are qualified for TNEA counselling.

General Eligibility

• Candidates from Tamil Nadu who have completed grades 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 are exempt from submitting a nativity proof.

• Candidates from states other than Tamil Nadu who have passed grades 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 must provide a birth certificate.

• Parent employment certificates must be submitted for children or wards of Central Government employees who have worked continuously in Tamil Nadu for the last five years.

• Candidates must provide proof of their parent's jobs if they have parents who are All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers.

• Any Srilankan Tamil Refugee candidate must produce an identification certificate from headquarters.

TNEA 2023 Age Limit

No age restriction applies. However, candidates for marine engineering cannot be older than 25.

Academic Qualification

• Candidates who passed their 10+2 examination or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) can apply for TNEA counselling.
• Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination can also apply, provided they pass the qualifying examination with the requisite percentage of marks.
• Candidates who are natives of TN and have completed their 10+2 education from a school located in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
• Candidates from other states are also eligible to apply but must submit a valid nativity certificate.
• The candidates received at least 45% (General) and 40% (MBC & DNC, SC/SCA/ST, and Backward Class, including Backward Class Muslims) scores.
• Candidates for marine engineering must have completed class 12 with at least a 60% PCM and a 50% English grade.

TNEA 2023 Registration Process

TNEA Online Application 2023 is available on the official website. Therefore, applicants must visit the official website to fill up the form. In contrast, the TNEA 2023 application form's last date is June 4 2023.

Below is a list of the steps to completing the TNEA 2023 counselling form.

1.  On the website, Click on the 'New User TNEA Registration' link and create a new account by entering the mandatory details like name, DOB, email ID, mobile number, etc.

2. After successful registration, candidates will receive a password via email and SMS.

3. Log in to the TNEA website using the generated login credentials.

4. Fill out the TNEA  form with all the relevant details, such as personal information, educational qualification, and communication details.

5. Upload all the scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and other necessary documents.

6. Pay the TNEA 2023 application fee using the online payment gateway.

TNEA 2023 Cutoff

The TNEA 2023 cutoff is available online by DoTE on the official website. The TNEA cutoff is influenced by various variables, including the number of open seats, patterns in prior year cutoffs, and the number of applicants taking the TNEA 2023 test. In addition, the cutoff rank varies from college to college. Thus, applicants must ensure the cutoff ranks before applying for admission. Candidates with scores that fall between the opening and closing ranks can obtain B Tech admission seats based on their college preferences during the seat allotment process.

TNEA 2023 Rank List

On July 12, the TNEA 2023 rank list /merit list will be available online at the official TNEA website by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu. The merit list will be created by considering candidates' 12^th marks. The registered email ID and password are needed to access the TNEA rank list pdf 2023.
