XAT full form is Xavier Aptitude Test as a National Aptitude Test entrance exam conducted by XLRI on behalf of XAMI. This exam is conducted to get admissions for the MBA program in XLRI, and it is also considered in more than 160 colleges all over the country. The registrations for this exam is open, and it is still ongoing. The last date for registering or submission of application for XAT 2022 is November 30 2021. 

The XAT 2022 exam is an online exam conducted in CBT mode, and the exam duration is 180 min, i.e. 3 hours. The number of questions asked in XAT 2022 is 100, and it is MCQ or objective pattern. XAT 2022 is conducted once every year. This test will be held in more than 70 cities and 100 venues across the country. When the candidates meet the eligible scores in XAT 2022, they can join PGDM and MBA programs. The XAT 2022 test will include General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency and Analytical and Logical Reasoning. Every correct answer carries one mark and a deduction of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

 Eligibility requirement for XAT 2022

• Students must be Graduates with at least 50% aggregate marks (5% concession for reserved candidates) or equivalent exam in any stream certified by a recognized board, university or institute will be qualified to attempt XAT 2022.
• The candidates who are still pursuing their final year can also apply for XAT 2022, but they must submit their degree completion certificate by the given deadline. 

How to apply for XAT 2022

The process of application for XAT 2022 is done through online mode. First, applicants are asked to fill in the online form mode by visiting the exam website. 

• Firstly, candidates must visit the XAT 2022 exam website authorized by the conducting body. 
• They must enter details like the name of the candidate, DOB, contact number and email ID.
• Students must both personal and academic details and choose an exam centre for taking up tests and the preferred institute of XLRI, and more. 
• By the end, applicants will have to upload the passport size photo and signature in the scanned format.
• Lastly, the page will redirect the applicants to pay the XAT 2022 application fee of INR 1800/- via Net banking or credit/debit card. 

XAT 2022 exam will be held on January 02, 2022, and the admit card for XAT 2022 will be released on December 20, 2021, where only the registered candidates will be eligible to get the admit card. The basic steps to download the admit card are to log on to the XAT 2022 website and enter the ID and password of registration. The respective candidate’s admit card will appear on the screen. Then, they must check all the details to be printed correctly and download the hall ticket. The admit card of XAT 2022 is mandatory to take up the exam.  

The results for the same will be given out by January 25, 2022. Once the results of candidates are given out, they will be processed for the selection rounds. The selection rounds to get admissions in the MBA program through XAT 2022, and the cut-off percentile of XLRI is 96-97%. It is also followed by Group Discussion rounds, Written Ability Test and PI rounds. The final selection will be made on the performance given in these rounds.
