TANCET 2024: Exam Date (OUT)

Anna University notified the TANCET 2024 Exam Date. As per the schedule, the exam will take place on March 9, 2024. Furthermore, authorities have extended the TANCET 2024 Registration deadline. The last date to apply for TANCET 2024 is February 12. Thus, aspirants are mandated to fill out the TANCET 2024 online application form before the deadline. Candidates who have finished a bachelor's degree course are eligible to submit the form.

TANCET is an exam organized by Anna University to fill postgraduate seats in Tamil Nadu colleges. The entrance test covers various PG courses like MTech, MArch, MPlan, ME, MBA, and MCA programs. Over 200 colleges in Tamil Nadu accept TANCET scores for admissions. The TANCET exam is conducted offline and includes 100 MCQs to be answered within two hours.

TANCET 2024 Eligibility

• A bachelor's degree with a 50 percent aggregate (45 percent for restricted categories) qualifies a candidate for the test.
• For MCA, Candidates must have at least a three-year bachelor's degree in BCA or B.Sc (IT/ CSE/ equivalent). Alternatively, those with a three-year bachelor's degree other than those mentioned above who have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level are also eligible. Applicants must have gained a min of 50% in the qualifying test (45% for reserved category candidates).

How to apply for TANCET 2024

• The TANCET 2024 application process has begun online on the official website.
• Interested applicants can register themselves by offering correct personal and academic details.
• Once registered, the applicants will receive an auto-generated user ID and password for future logins.
• Once the candidates have created an account, they need to fill out all the compulsory sections of the TANCET 2024 application form. They must also upload scanned copies of essential documents.
• While uploading these documents, the candidates should make sure that they are within the prescribed file size limits. That is important to avoid any cancellation of the application.
• TANCET 2024 application fees are INR 1000/- for the General Category and INR 500 for the Reserved Category.

TANCET 2024 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

According to the TANCET Exam Pattern, the MBA/MCA question paper consists of 100 questions that must be answered in two hours.

• TANCET 2024 Syllabus for MBA consists of five sections: Business Analysis, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Sufficiency.
• TANCET 2024 MCA Syllabus 2024 covers themes in four sections: quantitative aptitude, computer awareness, logical reasoning, and analytical reasoning.

A candidate will receive one mark for each correct answer and lose one-third of a mark for each incorrect response. TANCET Exam Pattern: Parts I and II will be required, while Part III applicants will have to attempt questions they chose at the time of registration.
