For new recruitment Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has begun online registration as stated in TNUSRB notification where a total of 10,906 vacancies will be filled in police constable, fireman posts and jail warder.
In the online mode that is in the official website application forms are available from September 26 till October 26. The required eligibility is candidates passed 10th class, aged between 18-24 years as on July 1, 2020. Candidates with higher educational qualification are not eligible to apply. The written exam is likely to be held in December.
Out of the total number of posts 6,547 vacancies are in Police Constable (Special Force) post, 3,784 total vacancies are in Police Constable (Armed Service), 458 vacancies in Fireman posts and 119 vacancies in Jail Warder Post.
Besides all this for Sub Inspector recruitment exam the board has released call letter. This recruitment was announced back then in 2019. Through this TNUSRB will fill 969 vacancies and the selection of candidates will be done through written exam, physical measurement test, physical efficiency test, endurance test and an interview. Call letters have been released for the Sub Inspector recruitment, TNUSRB has asked COVID-19 positive candidates to send their test report along with relevant documents.
Candidates selected to Police Constable, Fireman posts and Jail Warder through TN Police Recruitment 2020 will be paid stipend amount on a scale of INR 18,200 to INR 52,900 per month as notified.
