SSC CGL, CHSL 2018 Skill Tests

SSC CGL and CHSL 2018 exams, the skill will be conducted in November-December while skill test fir SSC CHSL 2018 will be held on November 26, the date for the CGL 2018 skill test has not been decided yet.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has notified in the context that skill test has to be conducted on pan-Indian basis. The Commission has decided due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation and in a view to quicken the recruitment process.

In the official website SSC will upload a demo of the processes which is involved in the skill test for the convenience of candidates. The skill test is the steps for candidates to get selected for the post. In Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) recruitment skill test is one of the selection levels. For candidates to get selected and sit for the skill test it is necessary to qualify tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 exams.

  • In December 2013 SSC CGL 2018 tier 3 exam was held and a total of 32,001 candidates were qualified and now are eligible to appear for the skill test.
  • Nearly 35,000 will be appearing for SSC CHSL 2018 skill test.

Meanwhile, CGL 2020 exam will be notified on December 21 and the exam will be in May, 2021. Students 10+2 passed are eligible for SSC CHSL exam, and in the month of November exam will be notified whereas exam will be held in April, 2021. So, after the SSC CGL and CHSL 2018 exam to be held in November-December is done, CGL 2020 exam notifications will be released.
