RMK Engineering was established in 1995. This institute trains more than 500+ students every academic Year. RMKEC offers courses in UG and PG standards in streams like Engineering, Science, and Computer Applications. RMKEC is NAAC accredited with a grade of 'A’+. RMK College offers admission to the B Tech/BE, BE (Lateral), M Tech, and MCA programs. AICTE has approved all the courses. In the NIRF 2021 Rankings, RMK secured 170 Positions for the B Tech Category.

The eligibility requirement for B-tech admissions in RMK Engineering College is that students must have completed their board exams in 10+2 with a minimum of 45% in core subjects like PCM.
