Registrations for IGNOU 2022 January session is extended till March 15, 2022

As per the latest updates, IGNOU registrations for the January session has been extended till March 15, 2022. The interested candidates can register themselves by visiting the official website of IGNOU January session admission for the academic year 2022. The admissions for IGNOU will be conducted in two cycles, i.e., in January, and the second phase will be held in July 2022. The admissions are mainly based on the candidate's aggregate secured in the last qualifying exam.

The IGNOU tweeted that the January session's fresh and re-registrations (online and ODL mode) are extended, whereas the earlier deadline was on March 05, 2022. Now there is an extension of 10 days.

Here's how to register for the IGNOU January session

The interested candidates for IGNOU registration can visit the portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
There will be a registration link on the screen; click on it.
Candidates must enter all the required details while filling out the registration form.
They must also pay the registration fees for IGNOU January admission 2022 in online mode.
The candidates will receive a confirmation mail and login details while filling out the application form.
In the next step, candidates must click on the login button and enter the credentials to fill out the application form.
Here, they must enter personal and academic details and attach the required documents in the scanned format given in the prescribed format and size.
Lastly, submit the application form and take a few printouts of the IGNOU application form to safeguard future references.

IGNOU will conduct different entrance exams for admissions, such as IGNOU OPENMAT 2022 for MBA and IGNOU OPENNET 2022 for Post Basic B.Sc nursing course.

Eligibility to appear for IGNOU OPENMAT: The candidates must have completed their graduation degree, with 50% will be accepted. Along with a graduation degree, they must have also had work experience in managerial, supervisory or professional experience for at least 3 years. The scores of OPEN MAT provides admission for IGNOU courses like MBA, DIM, PGDIM, PGDHRM, PGDFM, PGDOM, PGDMM and PGDFMP

Eligibility to appear for IGNOU OPENNET: Those who are registered nurses and Midwives with completion of Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery in addition to two years of work experience in this profession are allowed to take up OPENNET.
