Rajasthan B. Tech Admissions REAP: Eligibility, Application, Selection & Counselling Process
B Tech admission in Rajasthan will be made through REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process), also known as the Centralized admission process. Candidates must be noted that there will be no specific state-level entrance examination for B Tech in Rajasthan, instead engineering institutes in Rajasthan will accept JEE Main for B Tech admissions. Candidates who have secured a valid score in JEE Main Entrance Exam are eligible to apply for REAP to get admission for B Tech Programme. Centre for Electronic Governance, Rajasthan and Rajasthan Technical University is responsible for conducting REAP Process for B Tech online admission.

Eligibility for B Tech admission in Rajasthan
Educational Qualification: To get eligible for B Tech admission in Rajasthan engineering colleges, Candidates shall have completed the 10+2 examination with the required 45% aggregate marks in the science stream from any recognized board. If candidates belonging to the reserved category can attain a minimum 40% aggregate score to get eligible. Applicants must have studied mandatory subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, in 10+2. There is age relaxation for the upper age limit, which is provided for the reserved category as per the government's norms.
Domicile Rules: Domicile residents of Rajasthan state are eligible for admission into B Tech, and such students are also eligible to get admission seats under Communal Reservation, Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW), Concession Seat. Applicants from out of state are also eligible to apply for a B Tech course in Rajasthan, but the state government reservation policies do not apply for the students.
REAP Application Process for B Tech Admission in Rajasthan
Candidates who meet the above eligibility criteria are eligible for the application form for REAP through online mode. The REAP application form is made available at three official websites, namely techedu.rajasthan.gov.in, reapadm.com, reapadm.org.
Step 1: Payment of the application fees: Firstly, Visit the respective website and then click on the REAP registration portal, and then candidates are required to pay the REAP application form fee, which costs INR 700.
Step 2: Filling up the form: Upon the successful payments, candidates can fill up the required details mentioned in the application form.
Step 3: Upload the Documents: After filling up the form completely, candidates required to upload the scanned images of documents which is relevant in a prescribed format
Rajasthan B. Tech Admission and Selection Criteria
Admission Process for B Tech Course in Rajasthan will be held in online mode. Selection of the candidates will be based on the candidate's score secured in JEE Main Entrance Exam followed by REAP Counselling and based on the academic merit marks in the 10+2 examination followed by REAP. There will be three rounds of REAP.
REAP Merit List-1: After the completion of the REAP application process, The Counselling authority will release the 1st Merit List of REAP, and this merit list is prepared based on the candidates score acquired in JEE Main Entrance Exam and the merit list concludes candidates JEE Main Rank, Score, and registration number
REAP Merit List 2: Counselling Authority will release the 2nd Merit List of the candidates who have applied the REAP application process based on the academic merit of 10+2 (Without JEE Main). This Merit list concludes the name of the candidates, merit rank, and 12th Percentage.
REAP Combined Merit List: Apart from the merit list of 1st and 2nd, the counseling authority will declare the students' combined merit list according to their JEE Main Score and 12th Merit-Based and also Category wise.
Candidates will be shortlisted through REAP Combined Merit List for the B Tech admission in Rajasthan. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to secure admission for B Tech in participating government and private colleges across the Rajasthan State
Rajasthan B Tech Reservation Policy of Admission
100% seats are allocated in Government Engineering colleges of Rajasthan through REAP, and 50% seats are allocated in Private Engineering Colleges of Rajasthan through REAP.B Tech admission authority will allocate the seats for the candidates through merit list. Rajasthan B Tech Counselling Process
The Counseling process will be held via online mode to grant admission for a B Tech course in Private & Government Engineering Colleges of Rajasthan REAP. The counseling will be conducted in three rounds. Candidates can check the following steps to appear for REAP .counseling
Step 1-Online Registration: At first, Candidates need to register online and fill up the required details, and the login credentials will be generated. Then upload a scanned image of the photograph along with a signature in the prescribed format. Then pay the registration fees/REAP counseling fees INR 700, and it can be paid via Net Banking/ Credit Card or Debit Card.
Step 2: Choice filling in Online & Locking: Use the Login credentials generated at the time of registration, make the choices of seats that are available in the given list of the engineering colleges, and candidates need to lock the choice. Choice filled up by the candidates in the option entry form will be an important aspect of the online admission process.
Step 3: Seat Allotment Process: REAP seat allotment for B Tech admission will be done based on the Merit Rank and Choices filled by the candidates, and they required to download the provisional seat allotment letters which conclude their details regarding the institution in which the seat has been allotted, and also it contains the details regarding initial fees payment.
Step 4: Reporting to the allotted institute: Once the seat allotment is done, candidates must be present physically at the allotted institute as per the given schedule and carry all the original mandatory documents for the document verification process.
