PES University, highly recognized as PESU to be among the famous private universities, has been in Bangalore functioning since 1972. PES University was initially known as PES Institute of Technology, later discovered as PES University in 2013.  PES University has secured official approvals from UGC and AICTE committees.   • PG degrees under non-engineering programs like M.Com, M.Sc., and MA admissions in PESU must have passed in UG degree in the familiar choices and later apply for the postgrad level program.
  • There is no requirement for entrance exams for M.Com, M.Sc., and MA degrees at PES University.
  • Other PG programs like M-Tech, MBA, and MCA in PES University must have completed their graduate program without any backlogs in any stream.
  • The students must pass entrance exams like KPGCET, CAT, and MAT exams.
  • The allocation of seats is possible on both merit basis as Government quota or with management seats.

PES University admission or application process.

  • The eligible applicants must apply for PESU by opening the university's official website. While filling out the form, candidates must select their interested course by giving their contact details to download the application form. 
  • While applying for the form, they must also attach a few of the documents and certificates of eligibility for the course like KCET, KPGCET, CLAT, or NATA exam results.
  • The applicants must make the application fees payment through online mode or card payment to complete the submission. 
  • After the application form submission, an official mail will be sent to the candidates using their contact info.

PESSAT entrance exam for B-Tech program at PES University 

The University level exam held at PES University is called PESSAT, conducted for the B-Tech or MBA degrees at UG or PG level in this University. Students with the proper educational qualification will be allowed to take up the PESSAT exam. The exam mode is in CBT mode for all courses except for B.Des it is in the PBT method. The mode of application for PESSAT is through online mode. This exam duration for the B-Tech course is for 3 hours, and other courses, it is for two hours. The PESSAT paper is divided into four subjects: Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and English.

PES University accepts the KCET entrance exam, which is at the state level of Karnataka. This exam is taken up only by the Karnataka state residents.
