OJEE 2022 Counseling Process Update

Odisha Joint Entrance Exam 2022 is conducted mainly for aspiring engineering and technical candidates. OJEE 2022 was held in July month. The results of OJEE 2022 were out on July 27, 2022. The next process OJEE is their counseling session. As per the exam authority, OJEE 2022 Counseling is on hold as they haven't announced the dates. The reason is that the approval process and affiliation of the state's professional or Technical institutes of AICTE and University have not been completed. Also, some of the Universities / Councils / Boards' results have not been declared yet. Also, the OJEE exam registration for the second phase or special is extended till August 16, 2022.

The OJEE authority also announced that students with JEE Main scores willing to take admissions in Technical institutes (Private and Government) in the state could apply for OJEE Counseling once the details are released.

Here are the guidelines for the OJEE 2022 counseling process.

The common steps in the OJEE counseling will include registration, choice filling of institutes and courses, payment of seat acceptance fees, and provisional admission. There are two phases in the OJEE Counseling process. The candidates ranked in OJEE and JEE Main can apply for the counseling process. To be eligible for OJEE counseling, the minimum requirement is to complete their 10+2 board exams with a minimum of 45% of aggregate scores. If the candidate has appeared for JEE main, they must also submit JEE Main score card.

• The applicants must look for the OJEE notification given on the website regarding the timeline for the registration process. 
• The 3 step rounds in OJEE counseling are registration, choice filling, and verification.  
• The registration process of OJEE 2022 is validated only after paying the registration fees, which will be non-refundable.  
• The seat allotment authority considers the participating institutes, available seats, and the choices of courses.  
• The seat allotment can be checked on the website. Temporary Seat Positions will be available for candidates per the scheduled date and time, but they are not advised to submit the allotment letter to the institute.
• Candidates can apply for admissions if any vacant seats exist in the institutes. 

OJEE 2022 registration process is given below: 

• The eligible candidates must the OJEE 2022 official website at ojee.nic.in. 
• The registration must be done by entering all the basic details about the candidate. It is important for the applicant also to provide the results of JEE Main (if applicable). 
• Even the documents must be submitted in the digital or scanned format while applying online. 
• The OJEE counseling registration process will be done only after paying the registration fee.
• As the registration is complete, the candidate must do the choice filling of their interested technical institutions (approved/ affiliated colleges of the state) along with the course and its specialization. 
• The OJEE Counseling process will take offline on three rounds of declared dates. 
• After the final round, OJEE seat allotment is done based on various factors like the merit of the candidate, course and institution preferences, and the available seats. 
• After the allotment process is completed, any objections will be processed for verification. 
• In the end, the candidates must submit the docs in physical form for the verification round. 
• After the counseling round, the seat allotment letter must be submitted to the allotted institution for admission.
