NEST 2022 Application forms are open till 18th May; here's what you have to know about the exam. 

NEST conducted by NISER, acts as a necessary entrance exam for students willing to join the Integrated M.Sc. program from NISER, UM DAE CEBS Mumbai and Bhubaneswar. The registrations for NEST 2022 began on 23rd February 2022, and the registrations will end by 18th May 2022. If the candidates qualify in NEST, they will be eligible for admissions in both the institutions at Bhubaneswar and Mumbai campuses. NEST is a national level entrance exam accepted in India. The NEST 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on 18th June.

The eligibility NEST 2022 requirement is that the candidates must have completed their 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent exam from a recognized University or science stream board. The minimum required percentage in the qualifying exam is 60% (55% for reserved candidates) for NEST 2022.

Here is how to register for NEST 2022 

• The Nest 2022 application form online forms will be available  23rd February 2022, at nestexam.in.
• Before registration for the exam, students are recommended to be aware of the eligibility to take up the exam.
• Students are requested to fill in the application form with details matching the documents attached while submitting. If there is any proximity, the form will be directly rejected.
• The authority offers no correction window facility to make changes in the NEST application form.
• The students must submit the form by the given timeline, i.e. before 18th May, 2022.
• While filling out the form, candidates must also mention their preference of NEST 2022 exam centers, and they can make up to 5 choices. 
• Applicants can pay and save the application fees receipt for the further exam process. 
• The application fees amount for NEST 2022 for the general category is 1200/-, and for the reserved category, it is for INR 600/-. The payment can be in online modes like a card or net banking. 
• It is advised to keep a copy of the application form and the fees receipt for the later steps. 

The NEST 2022 exam pattern is a CBT mode online exam consisting of 200 marks questions in the English medium. The questions were in MCQ format, and for the right answer, one mark was awarded. The time duration of NEST 2022 is for 3 hours and 30 min (210 mins) to solve four sections of the exam paper. NEST 2022 paper was divided into subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology. In NEST 2022, there was no negative marking deduction for wrong answers.

After the registrations for NEST 2022 is done, the candidates must collect their admit card to appear for the exam. The NEST 2022 admit card will be released on the official website by 06th June, 2022. The candidates can download their respective admit card by entering their contact details and login credentials in the exam website. The admit card will be available until the registered candidates' exam day.

The admit card or the hall ticket is an important document that is compulsory for the exam centre. 

After the exam is over, the NEST 2022 answer key will be out before the actual results are announced. If there is any objection in the answer, candidates can raise their request and later the with the objection facility to raise for corrections in the answer key and post that, the final answer key of NEST will be given out on the website.

As per the schedule, NEST 2022 results will be out by 05th July 2022. The appeared students can see the result by using their username and application number. Next, the NEST merit list will be prepared based on marks secured by the candidates under the given category. Later the selected candidates will be followed through by the counselling rounds. The NEST 2022 counselling rounds will probably take place in July 2022. After the counselling process concludes, the qualified students will be given the letter of seat allotment. The allotment letter must be given to the participating institutions to continue the admission rounds.
