NEET UG medical exam conducted at the national level across India conducted by NTA. Earlier, the NEET medical exam was conducted once a year, but last year Education Minister declared that NEET will be held twice in a year for 2022 via online mode. There were many changes in organizing the NEET exam from the past years, like exam pattern, allocation of exam centres, admission process, and many more. According to the latest update, NEET 2022 Exam Dates will be announced by February or March 2022, along with an official notification. As per the tentative schedule, the NEET 2022 Exam might take either August/September 2022. For the same, NEET 2022 Application Forms will be available from July 2022. Before applying for the exam, the candidates should ensure NEET 2022 Eligibility Criteria. 

Along with that, even the NEET 2022 Application correction window will be open one month before the exam date. Here, we will bring out the complete information of NEET 2022, including important dates, the process of application, exam pattern, and other exam factors.

It must be noted that the NEET 2022 Exam Pattern has been revised. As per the changes, all the subjects will be divided into 2 sections called A & B Section, there will be 35 Questions for A sections and for B Section consists of 15 questions. There is a change NEET 2022 Syllabus. It is expected that NTA might eliminate Physics Portion from the 2022 NEET Exam in addition to the major changes.

NEET UG 2022 is evaluated with a total of 720 marks. For each right answer, four marks are given, and for every wrong answer, one mark is deducted.

Basic eligibility requirement for NEET-UG 2022

The eligibility qualifications are divided into three factors Nationality, Age limit and Minimum educational qualification.

• Nationality: For NEET UG 2022, the exam authority will accept Indian citizens, NRI’s, Foreign Nationals, Overseas Indian citizens (OCI), and persons who have Indian origins (PIO).
• Minimum Educational qualification: Students appearing for NEET must have completed their 12th board exams from a recognized board. Even the students who are yet to appear for 12 final board exams can appear for the exam. The mandatory subject to be cleared by the students in 12th is PCB.
• Age Limit: the min age limit to appear for NEET-UG 2022 is 17 years, and the max-age limit is 25 years.    

How to register for NEET UG 2022?

• The complete registration and application process for NEET UG 2022 is done online, i.e. by visiting the NEET exam official website from March 2022.
• The eligible students must click on the application link on the website.
• They must read the instructions and register themselves with personal and other contact details.
• A unique password and username will be generated so that the candidates can use it filling the application form.
• After the credentials are entered, candidates must start filling out the application form with personal educational details and choice of medical programs etc.
• For NEET 2022 application form, upload the candidate’s photo, signature and other related documents and certification.
• Lastly, the website will direct the candidate towards the payment of application fees online by card payments (debit or credit), net banking, or by UPI.

NEET UG 2022 Application Window Correction Process

• If any editing is to be done after applying for NEET 2022, candidates must apply for the correction window.
• The correction window for NEET-UG 2022 will open in August 2022.
• Students can again visit the exam website and login into their application using the password and username generated earlier.
• After logging in, students must make the necessary changes in the application form of NEET-UG 2022 and then do the final submission.

Note: After the registration is done, the NEET UG 2022 admit card will be released- students must appear for NEET-UG 2022 exam- post the result of the NEET-UG 2022 merit list will be prepared, followed by counselling rounds and seat allotment and finally end with the admission process in the allotted medical college.
