The University of Mumbai has begun the admission process for UG Distance Courses. CDOE (Centre for Distance and Online Education-Mumbai University) is responsible for UG admission in first-year BA, BCom, and BSc distance courses. Please keep in mind that students enrolling for the first time in CDOE programs must register by visiting the website. The last date to apply for Mumbai University Distance Education Admission 2024 is 31st July.

“For old CDOE students of the CBCS pattern who have taken admission for a second or third year, they can use their PNR number for further Mumbai University Online Admission 2024. It also said that the students of CDOE for the academic year 2022–23 should note that their examinations for the II and IV semesters are scheduled for July 2024. After the announcement of the Mumbai University Exam Results 2024, the university will provide the admission details for the next session.

Students from the first and second years of their degree programs from affiliated colleges of the University of Mumbai willing to get admission to CDOE should scan and upload their NOC along with their PNR number for online admission into CDOE. Then, they will check the documents and mark sheets for authenticity. If they discover a fake marksheet, the law will punish the student accordingly. The university later informed them that NEP 2020 has made it compulsory to register at ABC (Academic Bank of Credits) with an ABC ID.

Mumbai University has released the new NEP Guidelines 2024 for Distance Education. The choice-based credit system is one of the flexibility options available. Assignments, when used as an assessment method, can be defined as a continuous evaluation process. These are the ICTs that are today regarded as enhancing the acquisition of knowledge.

Mumbai University Distance Education Admission Process 2024

The candidates must ensure they meet the set eligibility criteria before making their applications. To be eligible for most UG courses, you must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examinations. Before filling out the online application, you must gather mark sheets, passing certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), address proof, ID proof, etc.

  • Use your MU CDOE account to log into the official website. Complete the Mumbai University application form accurately and submit it online.
  • During admission, a candidate has the option to select a specialized study center of their choice. There are several study centers across Maharashtra for doubt-solving sessions, practicals, libraries, and so on.
  • After the admissions process is complete, you can collect the identity card and the study material from the center you belong to. Attend the PCP lectures and make sure that you prepare your assignment within the agreed-upon time frame.

  • Go to Mumbai University Distance Education's official website.
  • Navigate to ‘Admission’ and click on ‘New Registration’.
  • The candidate can provide his name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number to create a login or password.
  • After Mumbai University distance course registration 2024, enter your username and password, and then complete an online admission form.
  • Choose your course from the list, as well as the study center you'd like to attend.
  • You may upload scanned images of photographs, signatures, identity proofs, mark sheets, caste certificates, etc.
  • Pay the application fee online with a debit or credit card, net banking, or UPI.
