MUHS divisional center of the University to Come Up as an educational hub in Latur

University of Maharashtra of Health Sciences (MUHS) a Nashik-based is set to establish a divisional center as an educational hub which will be situated in Marathwada region of the state.

Amit Deshmukh Education Minister and guardian minister of Latur district, on December 18, 2020, Medical stated that the State Government of Maharashtra has planned to allow the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) divisional center in Latur.

Central Maharashtra City owns at least 25 to 30 government departments’ divisional offices, including the charity, water resources, co-operative, transport, and health.

After the functioning started at the headquarter MUHS Nashik, its divisional centers were originated at Kolhapur, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Pune, and Mumbai i.e. five places. In an official statement University of Maharashtra mentioned that the divisional center at Aurangabad will be bifurcated to build the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences facility in Latur.

MUHS has also announced its 20th Convocation Ceremony and is scheduled to take place in the month of January next year. According to the notification, the call will be conducted through online mode.

The University of Maharashtra of Health Sciences is a higher education institution in Nashik, Maharashtra. This University of Maharashtra of Health Sciences was established on June 03, 1998, as a government-run University. University of Maharashtra of Health Sciences grants affiliations to colleges and institutions that influence health science education across the state.

The University of Maharashtra of Health Sciences offers undergraduate and postgraduate studies including Ph.D. in all branches of health sciences. Undergraduate program includes the courses of MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BDS, while the postgraduate program comprises the MD, MS, M.Sc, and other postgraduate Diploma courses.
