Higher Education Minister of Maharashtra , Uday Samant has been posted a tweet on 2nd September 2020 regarding the announcement of revised schedule for MHT CET 2020.As per the latest schedule, the entrance exam will be held between October 1st to 15th.Hence students can expect the entrance exam to be held in the month of October and can continue with their preparation for the MHT CET exam. As per the tentative dates of entrance exam, MHT CET 2020 admit card probably to be released in the 4th of September.
Previously, MHT CET was supposed to be held in the month of may but it was postponed due to COVID-19 Pandemic situation in the country. Important Dates which is relevant to the MHT CET will be declared soon on its official website (cetcell.mahacet.org.)
Maharashtra Education Minister also stated that, the specific dates for MHT CET 2020 entrance exam will be declared soon and also the examination authority will announce soon regarding the mode of examination and format of organising the exam. Thus, students who are willing to appear for MHT CET 2020 examination are advised to visit the respective website frequently and stay updated.
Earlier, supreme court forbidden the plea of Maharashtra Government which has been asked for the relief from the UGC guidelines in order to conduct final year examination for the 2020 session. On opposing, Supreme court ordered state government to ask University grant commission for exam relaxation. On 24th August 2020, Supreme court forbidden the appeal of Maharashtra government regarding the rescheduling MHT-CET 2020 examination further.
