The Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam Kerala has now started with their fresh master's program for the latest academic batch and made a statement about the same in the previous week. Now the application is live, and the aspiring/ interested students can start applying for the given courses.
The new programs offered are in Artificial Intelligence, statistics, nano-science in chemistry, physics, and energy, machine learning, nano-science, technology, etc., with their respective schools' expertise.
These new programs' registration process is similar to the steps followed for other programs. Registration on the official page- filling the application- attaching documents- paying the application amount and finally taking a print out of it and securing it later.
The registration fee for applying for admissions in MGU for all the general category candidates is INR 1100. Those who come under the reserved category have a certain amount of relaxation and pay only INR 550. All the foreign or international students must pay US $100. All the fee details are given on their website to clarify further doubts. The last date for the students to apply for the new masters' program in MGU is by 28 February 2021
Students joining a course in the school of energy materials will get an opportunity to research international labs abroad as the University has signed collaborations with foreign universities worldwide.
MGU newly offers M-Tech course in the specialization of energy science from the academic year of 2021, with a limited number of seats as this will be their initial batch of students. An initial number of students is 10, with two foreign candidates. The whole admission process for these courses will happen during Jan-Feb 2021 cycle.
The qualification needed for the candidates to apply for these new master's level courses is completing M.sc in nano-science and technology with subjects like Polymer science, Physics, electronics or communication, Material science civil engineering, etc., with a minimum score of 50%.
The seat allotment of MGU are-20% of the total seats will be kept reserved for All India Quota (AQI), the applicants who are the native people of Kerala state itself.
20 % of the seats are reserved for foreign candidates willing to join MGU for their PG programs.
