Calcutta University MBA Eligibility Criteria 2025

To be eligible for the University of Calcutta MBA program, candidates have to meet several requirements. Check below the following criteria:

• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from any recognized university.
• Candidates must have obtained at least 50% in entrance exams such as CAT, XMAT, MAT, JEEMAT or any other UGC national-level entrance test.
• Candidates must participate in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds conducted by the University of Calcutta.

Calcutta University MBA Fees 2025

The fee structure is as follows:

• The application fee for GM students is Rs. 1500. On the other hand, the fee for the SC or ST category is Rs. 750.
• At the time of admission to semesters 1 and 2 is Rs. 70,000. This includes the refundable amount of Rs. 10,000. At the time of admission to Semesters 3 and 4, the fee is Rs. 60,000.
• The fees include tuition charges, exam fees, and other academic expenses.

Calcutta University MBA Admission Process 2025

Candidates aspiring to get admission at the University of Calcutta have to follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the application form:

• Go to the official website of Calcutta University and select the admission section.
• Download the Calcutta University application form 2025 for the preferred MBA program. Here, you have to choose from an MBA with Dual Specialization, an MBA in Financial Management or an MBA in HRD.
• Provide personal details and academic qualifications. You also need to mention the score obtained in entrance exams, such as JEEMAT, CAT, MAT or others.
• Upload all the required documents like cast certificate, mark sheets, and payment receipt.
• You need to pay the non-refundable application fee before submitting the form. Payment can be done via online banking, credit or debit card, or demand draft. The Calcutta University application fee for general category students is Rs. 1500, whereas for the SC or ST category, it is Rs. 750.

Calcutta University MBA Selection Process 2025

Shortlisted applicants will be called for GD and PI rounds. The tentative dates for GD and PI are 25 June to 28 June 2025. This round will assist candidates in their communication skills, leadership qualities, problem-solving ability, and overall personality. Candidates who successfully clear the Calcutta University selection process will receive an admission offer letter. To confirm admission, students have to pay the first instalment of the tuition fee.
