Eligibility Criteria for MBA Admission in Kerala
Academic Qualification: To qualify for MBA admission in Kerala, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institute and should have secured a minimum 50% aggregate score in the qualifying examination. Simultaneously, candidates who belong to the reserved category will have a 5% of relaxation in percentage according to government norms. Such that, candidates can obtain a minimum 45% score in bachelor’s degree.

Application Process for MBA Admission in Kerala
Candidates who aspire to appear for the KMAT entrance exam need to register via online mode by submitting the application form. The Kerala-MAT application process will be conducted in online mode. Step 1-Registration: Foremost, candidates must visit the official website of KMAT. Then, click on the “New Registration” option. Fill up all the required details, and then click on submit option. Thereafter, the application number & password will be generated (login credentials)
Step 2-Fill up KMAT online application form: Applicants must log in by using the generated credentials to fill up the application form. Then, proceed to fill up the application form by appropriately entering all the necessary details.
Step 3-Payment of Application fees: Candidates need to pay the stipulated application fee cost according to their category. Kerala MAT or KMAT application fees for the general category costs INR 1000 and for SC/ST Category costs INR 750.
Step 4-Uploading Documents: Candidates need to upload the scanned images of the passport size photo and their signature, and it should be uploaded according to the prescribed dimensions.
Step 5-Choosing Exam Centre: In this step, candidates need to choose K-MAT three exam centers as per their preference and click on the submit option to confirm.
Step 6-Application Submission: Later, candidates need to review the application form to check whether the filled details are proper enough and then click on “submit.” On a serious note, once the application form is submitted, it cannot be edited/modify anymore.
Selection Process for MBA Admission in Kerala
After the declaration of the KMAT result, ASC (Admission Supervisory Committee) will prepare the cut off list. Candidates who have qualified in the written entrance exam Kerala-MAT need to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview round for further selection process. The Weightage is given 80% of the written exam and the remaining 20% for GD/PI. The Minimum Qualifying marks in KMAT is 108 out of 720 marks.
