The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts the MET (Manipal Entrance Test) every year. It selects candidates for BTech course admission to its participating campuses, such as MIT Manipal, Bengaluru, Sikkim, and Jaipur. The MET 2025 exam is conducted in online mode at various exam centres.

The MET application form 2025 last date has been extended for the phase 1 exam. Candidates can now complete and submit their applications until 28 March 2025. Before moving with the MET registration 2025, candidates are strongly advised to check the official eligibility criteria. Moreover, the MET exam date 2025 is announced.

The Manipal University Entrance Exam 2025 for Phase 1  will be conducted on 18 and 19 April 2025 in a CBT mode. Candidates are advised to check out the MET mock test online for all courses. The MET 2025 admit card will be issued only after candidates complete the slot booking process. The MET phase 2 exam is scheduled for 12 May 2025. The best MET 2025 score will be considered at the time of admission.

MET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

MAHE has published the MET eligibility criteria 2025 on its official web portal. The eligibility criteria include information about nationality, minimum educational qualification, and age requirements. To qualify for the Manipal Entrance Test, candidates have to complete their class 12th or equivalent examination. Candidates planning to appear for MET 2025 must carefully check the detailed eligibility criteria before submitting their application form. If a candidate is found ineligible at the time of admission, their candidature will be cancelled.

  • There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.
  • Candidates must have completed their class 12th from any recognized board.
  • Maths, Chemistry, Physics and English must be compulsory subjects in class 12th.
  • A minimum of 50% marks is required in Maths, Physics, and one optional subject. The optional subjects include Chemistry, or Biotechnology, or Biology, or any other technical vocational subject.

How to Fill Out the MET Application Form 2025

The Manipal University application form 2025 last date for phase 1 is 28 March. Here is a step-by-step guide for completing the application form.

 

Step 1: Registration

Candidates have to visit the official website. Click on the registration link. They need to provide basic details like email ID and phone number to log in.

Step 2: Filling out the registration form

Candidates have to complete the MET application form by entering personal, academic, and contact details. Important details include the candidate’s name, gender, and parents. All information must be correct, and the official documents.

Step 3: Course selection after filling out the important details

Candidates have to enter their class 12th qualifying exam information. They will also need to select their preferred program, course, stream and exam two.

Step 4: Correction of information

Candidates can edit the details once this step is completed. There will be no further chances allowed for any corrections.

Step 5: Payment of application fees

Candidates must pay the application fee via card, UPI, or net banking. Other payment methods will not be accepted.

Step 6: Upload documents

Candidates need to upload scanned copies of the photo and signature.

Step 7: Submission of application form

Finally, candidates have to submit the application form before the dead applications are accepted. After that it is advisable to take a printout of the completed form for future reference.

 

MET Application Fee 2025

All applicants have to pay the MET 2025 application fee to complete the registration for the exam. The fee can be paid online. Candidates who fail to complete the payment will not be permitted to appear. The application fee is Rs. 600 for all courses. There is a fee of Rs. 1400 as an entrance test fee for selected courses. International or NRI category candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 2500.

 

MET 2025 Application Form: Offline

Candidates also have the option to complete the application process in offline mode. They need to download and print the application form from the official web portal. The steps for filling out the form offline are given below:

  • Candidates must complete the application form in their handwriting. It must be noted that only a blue or black ballpoint pen is used.
  • Overwriting or striking any word should be avoided. It may lead to the rejection of the MET registration form.
  • Candidates have to be filled out in capital letters.
  • Make sure that you write within the designated square box. Avoid writing in cursive handwriting.
  • Fill out the course code carefully. Attach your photo to the application form without stapling it. Proper pasting is important to avoid any rejection.
  • The DD must be made in favour of the ‘Manipal Academy of Higher Education’. Candidates then must send a copy of DD along with the application form to MAHE Karnataka.

 

MET 2025 Exam Pattern

The MET exam pattern is available online at the official website. It can refer to the pattern for understanding how authorities will conduct the exam. MET 2026 Slot Booking

The MET slot booking dates are expected to be announced soon. Registered candidates can access the slot booking facility online by logging in with the credentials. Only those who have completed the registration process can use MET slot booking 2025 facility. It is important to know that the Online Test Booking System password will be the candidate’s birthdate. Candidates are strongly advised to complete the slot booking process at the earliest. Once the slots are booked, a MET 2025 hall ticket will be generated. There will be a separate booking process for separate phases.
