MDI Gurgaon is one of the country's top management schools, ranking #9 in the Economic Times B-School Ranking (Overall). The college was also ranked #9 in the NIRF Management Rankings 2021 list of best management colleges globally, including famous IIMs. PGDM, PGP-IB, and PGP-HRM are some of the major programs offered by MDI Gurgaon. Admission to these schools is based on a candidate's CAT, academic, and PI performance. MDI Gurgaon accepts CAT scores for its admission process.

The admission or application process at Management Development Institute
Admission forms are available on the official websites of MDI Gurgaon and MDI Murshidabad. In addition to the CAT scores, MDI will accept the GMAT scores. The candidate must specify which score (CAT or GMAT) he wants MDI to consider.

- Select the intended program from the drop-down menu.
- After registering, apply with a valid email address and phone number.
- Click the program you are applying for PGDM, PGDM-HRM, or PGDM IB.
- Candidates are allowed to apply to multiple programs.
- Fill in all of the required information.
- After paying the application cost online, apply.
- The application fee for PGDM/ FPM and Ex-PGDM/ EFPM is INR 3000.
MDI entrance examination admission
Applicants must take the CAT or have a valid GMAT score for admission to MDI Gurgaon's PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGPM-IB programs, and MDI Murshidabad's PGDM program. Applicants with both scores should clarify which one they want to consider. Only one of the two scores will be considered in the selection process.
General Management, Human Resources Management, and International Business are among the PGDM programs offered by MDI. The program lasts two years. The PGDM – IB is a dual degree program offered in collaboration with ESCP Europe.
MDI offers a 15-month full-time executive program called the PGDM (National Management Programme). Self-supported and sponsored candidates are both eligible for admission. MDI has two rounds of admissions for this course.
MDI provides a three-year part-time PGDM (Executive) program for managers, executives, and entrepreneurs. The institute offers admission to this program twice a year in July and January.
MDI provides two management fellowship programs: the Fellowship Program in Management (FPM) and the Executive Fellow Program in Management (EFPM). The course will last for 4-5 years from the time of enrolment. The FPM/ EFPM committee may extend this up to 7 years based on merit and work progress.
PGDM/ PGDM-HRM/ PGDM-IB
- The marks acquired in the CAT entrance exams select students for these courses.
- Candidates that are chosen will be required to participate in a group discussion and a personal interview.
- The final list of candidates is announced based on their performance in the PI and GD.
NMP-PGDM
- The CAT entrance exams or GMAT examinations choose students for NMP-PGDM admission.
- Students selected based on their GMAT score must participate in round one, which can be done either online or offline.
- Students selected based on their CAT or GMAT cut-off scores will only be required to attend round 2.
- Personal Interview performance and CAT/ GMAT results will be used to make the ultimate decision.
- Valid GMAT scores will be considered for admission for foreign/NRI/PIO applicants.
PGDM-EMP
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% grades in Class 10 and Class 12 is required.
- After graduation, you must have at least 3 years of executive work experience.
- The MDI test, administered on-site or online, selects students for Ex-PGDM admission to MDI.
- The choice will be made who is also done based on a genuine CAT and GMAT score.
- MDI administers a written or online test at the Gurgaon campus through the MDI Test cut-off. The test follows the same format as the CAT, with components on numeric ability, logical reasoning, and English language skills.
- Through the CAT cut-off: The CAT score is used in the admissions process for such individuals.
- Candidates who have taken the GMAT within the last five years are chosen based on their GMAT performance.
- Candidates are chosen based on their exam scores or performance in the Personal Interview.
- Experience gained during a stipend or training term is not counted.
FMP/ EFMP
- The GMAT, CAT, and GATE legitimate scores are used to choose students for this program, followed by an online or offline personal interview.
- Candidates for FPM and EFPM must have a master's degree in any field with a minimum of 60%.
- A minimum of 60% aggregate marks is required for candidates with a five-year integrated Master's degree.
- Class 10 and Class 12 students must have a minimum of 50% in their bachelor's degree.
- Furthermore, EFPM candidates must have 10 years of professional experience.
- Candidates for the EFPM must be 35 years old.
- Final year students taking their final exam can apply for FPM admission.
- Candidates for FPM and EFPM must have valid standard test scores such as the CAT, GRE, GATE, UGC-JRF, and GMAT.
MDI CAT cut-off score
MDI has announced the CAT Cut-off for the PGDM/ PGDM-HRM/ PGDM-IB, PGDM-NMP, PGDM-EMP, FMP/EFMP, and PGDM-EMP programs. The cut-off is set based on several factors, including:

The MDI Gurgaon CAT cut-off for 2022 admission is predicted to remain between 93 and 95. For admission in 2022, international students can apply for PGDM courses based on their GMAT scores, and the college will no longer recognize the XAT score. MDI Gurgaon will use the CAT 2021 score, Application Score (Class X and XII scores, Academic Diversity, Gender Diversity, and Work Experience), and Personal Interview (PI) Score to determine the final shortlist.

MDI GMAT cut-off score
When taking the GMAT Exam, candidates must register for the MDI Program on the GMAT website. MDI will interview applicants who have been selected based on their GMAT scores.
The CAT 2020 or GMAT results will determine admission to PGDM-NMP. Indian candidates should take the CAT 2020 exam for the other three disciplines, while the others should take the GMAT.
