The KEA has started the process for entering 12th board marks for the year 2024 on its official website. To do this, students must visit the KEA website and use their KCET 2024 registration number and password. Those from various boards like CBSE, CISCE, IGCSE, etc., including the Jammu & Kashmir board, should use the KCET candidate portal for entering their 12th Marks. Similarly, students from Karnataka 2nd PU, CBSE, CICSE, 10+2, and repeaters should also enter their scores through the KCET marks entry link for 2024. Additionally, it's necessary to upload the marks statement in PDF format.

KEA has announced that the marks of Karnataka students who took the 2nd PUC exam this year will be automatically collected from the relevant department. These students do not need to update their scores through the KCET marks entry facility for 2024.

KCET Rank List 2024

To create the KCET rank list for engineering and farm science courses, KEA considers both KCET exam scores and 12th standard marks equally important.

  • For B.E/ B.Tech courses, the marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics from both KCET and the 12th standard exams are given equal importance, each contributing to 50% of the weightage.
  • For B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Forestry, B.Sc Horticulture, and other B.Sc. Farm Science courses, the marks in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology from both KCET and the 12th standard exams are equally significant, with each category contributing 50% towards the final score. In the case of the Agriculturist quota, KCET and 12th standard marks hold 25% weightage each, while the practical exam holds 50% weightage.
  • For B.VSc & A.H courses, 50% weightage is given to the marks obtained in physics, chemistry, and biology in KCET 2024, while the remaining 50% is allotted to the practical exam.
  • For B.Pharma courses, only the marks obtained in physics, chemistry, and biology/mathematics (whichever is higher) in KCET 2024 are considered.
  • For BNYS (Naturopathy and Yoga) courses, the marks in physics, chemistry, and biology from both KCET and the 12th standard exams carry equal importance, each contributing 50% towards the final score.
