The KCET 2023 Exam Date has been announced, according to the sources. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts the Karnataka Common Entrance Test annually. It is designed for admission to  Engineering and B.Pharma programs. The state's various government and private institutions accept the KCET scores for offering admission.

KEA will hold the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2023 exam for admission to professional courses on May 20 and 21. In addition, candidates from Horanadu and Gadinadu, another state and border region, will take the Kannada language exam on May 22 at a few different locations.

On the official website, kea.kar.nic.in, the notification and KCET 2023 Brochure will soon be available. The information brochure for the KCET exam in 2023 will include the exam date, Syllabus, eligibility requirements, exam fee, and other details. Therefore, it is anticipated that KCET 2023 Registration will begin soon. As per the source, KCET 2023 application forms will be available from April 3st week. Candidates wishing to take the KCET 2023 exam must meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC (class 12) or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as required subjects as part of the basic eligibility requirements.

In addition, the candidate must take optional courses in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics, and English in addition to the required courses. Thus, before filling KCET form, students are mandated to satisfy the KCET 2023 Eligibility.

Students willing to appear for KCET in 2023 must know the exam pattern. Knowing the structure will make it easier for the students to plan study preparations. The KCET exam will be administered offline. The questions on the exam papers are multiple-choice with four options. The exam will last 320 minutes, with 80 minutes allotted to each subject. Each paper will receive 180 points.

KCET 2023  Application Process

The following section contains information about the KCET 2023 application:

The application will be available online in the third week of April 2023. Candidates are required to submit their application form with all the correct information. The application form must be submitted by the first week of May 2023. After correctly entering all of the required information, candidates can submit the form online.

Then, when the correction facility opens, students can correct their mistakes. In May 2023, specifics regarding the correctional facility will be made available. Make a copy of the form and keep it safe for later use

How to Fill Out the Application for KCET 2023:

  • Go to the online website and register by entering the required information.
  • Start filling out the online application by logging in with the login information provided.
  • Complete all of the information, including personal, communication, qualifications, etc.,
  • Scan the photograph, signature, thumb impressions, and other identification proofs.

KCET 2023 Application Fees

  • KCET 2023 Exam Fees cum application fees are Rs. 500 for General & OBC candidates and Rs. 250 for SC, ST, and Women candidates.
  • Candidates can pay the application fee by submitting a challan to one of the designated banks or e-post offices. Or students can make the payment via online methods.

For Engineering Courses

  • Qualification: The 12th grade or its equivalent must have been passed by students from a recognized board or authority.
  • Appearing: Candidates for the 12th level may also apply.
  • Subjects that Qualify: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology from a recognized board are required for enrollment.
  • Minimum grade: To qualify, students must have earned 45% (40% for reserved categories) in PCM/PCB subjects.

Other Programs:

  • For the B.Pharma: Candidates must have graduated from a recognized board with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology in their 12th grade. 5% of an allowance for the SC/ST group.
  • B.V.Sc. & AH: Candidates must have passed the 12th grade with at least 50% in English and PCB. 5% of an allowance for the SC/ST group.

Admit Card for KCET 2023 

The admit card for KCET 2023 will be available on the KEA website. Applicants who complete the application can download their KCET 2023 Hall Ticket using their login credentials. No candidate can enter the KCET 2023 exam hall without an admit card. It considers information about exams and candidates, such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam date, and location, among other things. Candidates are required to keep it until the admissions process is successful.
