Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) started the Application Process for KCET 2021 on 15th June 2021. Applicants can fill the KCET application form by 13th July 2021. The mode of the application procedure is online. Applicants have to visit the official web portal of KEA to apply online. In addition, there is a time limit to submit the form within 5:30 PM. Even KEA has released the official brochure regarding KCET on its respective website.
This year, KEA has revised the KCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria and the KCET 2021 Syllabus due to the cancellations of the 12th Karnataka State Board / CBSE Exams. As per the revised criteria, there is no provision for minimum eligibility marks. Students who are just passed in 12th / PUC are now eligible to apply for KCET. Earlier, students were supposed to obtain a minimum of 45% marks at the 12th level. Before applying for an entrance exam, applicants kindly make sure of the eligibility criteria specified by KEA.
As per the revised KCET Syllabus, there will be a 30% reduction. KCET 2021 Exam Pattern comprises 60 types of MCQ in each section, which need to be solved in 80 Minutes. The mode of examination is offline. (Pen Paper Based)
KEA also released the KCET 2021 Exam Dates on its official website. As per the notified schedule, the KCET entrance exam takes place on 28th and 29th August 2021. Initially, the KCET exam was scheduled to be held between 7th to 9th July 2021. Due to the COVID 19 Lockdown restrictions, KEA postponed further. After the registration process concludes, successfully registered, applicants can avail of the KCET 2021 admit card from 13th August 2021.
Whereas the KCET 2021 application correction window will be available between 19th to 22nd July 2021, applicants get an opportunity to modify/correct the details in the online application in case of any discrepancy found
How to fill KCET 2021 Application Form?
Step 1: Visit the authorized website of KEA (@ cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.)
Step 2: First, you have to register online by entering the details like Name, DOB, Email ID, Mobile Number, Password and Security Questions.
Step 3: After registration gets complete, you will receive an application number and User ID for your registered Mobile Number or Email ID.
Step 4: You have to log in using the application number and User ID credentials. After successful login, you will be able to access the KCET 2021 application form.
Step 5: Fill in all the necessary details in the form. Then, upload all the scanned images of the Photo with signature.
Step 6: At last, make the payment of KCET 2021 Application fees online. The application fees charge approximately INR 750 in general. The fees may vary for each category. So make the payment as per the category wise
