The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has changed the KPGCET 2024 Exam Date. Initially, it was scheduled for June 29 and 30. Now, it has been rescheduled to July 13 and 14. The KPGCET application form 2024 process is ongoing. KEA will conduct the KPGCET 2024 exam for postgraduate professional courses like MBA, MCA, and MTech. Students who have completed their bachelor’s degree can apply for KPGCET 2024 online.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Syllabus Revision

The exam authority has revised the KPGCET syllabus 2024. According to the official KEA website, the syllabus for the PGCET for MBA, MCA, ME, M-Tech, and MArch courses has been updated in collaboration with VTU. The syllabus and question paper pattern for PG courses have been adjusted to match the latest syllabus in universities and other competitive exams. The PGCET 2024-25 will follow the revised syllabus that is available on the KEA website.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Karnataka PGCET for MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech, and M.Arch:

For MBA:

  • Full-Time MBA: Students need a recognized Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, and Category-I students in Karnataka).
  • Part-Time MBA: Students with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, with at least 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, and Category-I students), and at least 3 years of work experience by July 31, 2024, are eligible.

For MCA:

  • Students with a BCA/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree are eligible for MCA. Also, those with B.Sc./B.Com/B.A. with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or the Graduation level, and at least 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, and Category-I students) can apply.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Exam Pattern

KEA will publish the Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam details on the website along with the official notice. Understanding the exam pattern will assist students in scoring well. The KPGCET 2024 exam will be conducted offline. Students should review the syllabus to know which topics to study for the exam.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Application Form

KEA started the KPGCET 2024 registration on 27th May. Those who want to join the MBA through KPGCET 2024 have to apply before June 17, 2024. Before applying, students needed to check if they met the eligibility criteria.

How to Fill KPGCET 2024 Application Form

The online form for Karnataka PGCET will be available at kea.kar.nic.in. You'll have about a month to register. The process has two parts:

Phase 1: Enter your basic details. You can edit or delete them here.

Phase 2: Review and confirm your information. Once confirmed, you can't change anything.

Step 1: KPGCET Registration

  • Visit the Karnataka PGCET website.
  • Click on 'New User? Register here.
  • Fill in your Name, Gender, Contact Details, etc.
  • You'll get a User ID and Password on your email and mobile.

Step 2: Filling KPGCET Application Form

  • Log in with the credentials you got during registration.
  • Fill in your personal, academic, and contact details.
  • Save the form and then move to the next step.

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Documents

  • Have scanned copies of your photo, signature, parent signature, and left thumb impression ready.
  • Upload them in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Review and submit the form.
  • Document Size & Specifications
  • Follow the size, format, and dimensions for each document.

Step 4: Accepting the Declaration & Submitting the Form

  • Review the form and agree to the declaration.
  • Once submitted, you can't change anything.

Step 5: KPGCET Application Fee Payment

  • Pay the fee through a bank challan.
  • General category: Rs. 650, Reserved category: Rs. 500.
  • Keep the payment proof.
  • After filling out the form, print it for future reference.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Admit Card

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card will be available by July 2024.

How to Download the Admit Card:

  • Go to the official KEA website: kea.kar.nic.in
  • Visit the admission section and click on "PGCET 2024."
  • Find and click on the link to print the Karnataka PGCET admission ticket.
  • Select the exam name and enter the required details.
  • Click "Submit" and download your admit card.
