JoSAA 2022 Counselling Eligibility
Candidates who pass JEE Main or JEE Advanced must sign up for JoSAA 2022 to take part in the admissions and counseling process for numerous prestigious engineering schools in India. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority oversees the admissions process for admissions to 28 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs), 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 23 IITs (JoSAA). During the seven rounds of the JoSAA 2022 counseling procedure, seats will be assigned to candidates. Aspirants will be chosen based on their qualifications and preferences for institutions and courses when applying for seats through JoSAA.
All applicants who have passed JEE Main and JEE Advanced are eligible for admission to the various participating institutions. More than 50,000 undergraduate engineering seats (B.Tech/ BE) would be available for qualified applicants.
JoSAA 2022 Counselling Registration Process
Online registration and choice filling for JoSAA 2022 are expected to open in September. JoSAA 2022 Counselling Registration Process listed below can be used by candidates to register and fill out their choices:
Step 1: Registration
Candidates must use their JEE Main 2022 roll number and password to sign up on the official JoSAA website. Candidates who sign up for JEE Advanced must log in using their JEE Advanced password and login information. Candidates must verify their information after logging in, including their gender, nationality, state eligibility code, contact information, etc. All the details must be verified again by the candidates. Each applicant must be aware that during JoSAA registration 2022, other than contact information, no personal data may be changed.
Step 2: Choice Filling
Upon registration, candidates must list their top-choice branches and colleges. The options for admission will be listed according to the candidate's qualifications. Candidates can pick "Arrange Filled Choices" to put the choices in the order of their preference after they have been submitted.
Step 3: Choice Locking
After finishing the choice-filling process, candidates were required to lock their selections and print a copy of the results for their records.
Step 4: Document Verification
Students must get their documentation checked in this phase under the schedule. Online document verification is done. Students won't be permitted to report to the designated location for final admission until all their documentation has been verified.
Step 5: Seat Allocation
Seats will be assigned to aspirants depending on their ranking, the programs and universities they selected, and the seats that are available. If pupils are happy with the school and the program, they can select Freeze; if not, they can either select Float or Slide. The remaining fee must be deposited, and the student must appear at the designated institute to complete the remaining admissions requirements.
