JoSAA 2022 counseling started

JoSAA-Joint seat Allocation Authority counseling for 2022 is held for those qualified JEE Main and JEE Advanced students. The eligible students can apply through josaa.nic.in. JoSAA counseling aims to provide admissions into NITs, IITs, GFTIs, and IIITs based on their entrance exam scores. Only eligible candidates can apply for JoSAA counseling. The counseling process includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and confirmation of admission. JoSAA 2022 registrations are open from September 12, 2022.

Qualified students can register for AAT on September 17, 2022. For the mock seat allocation of JoSAA 1, the applicants can register on September 18, 2022, and for the second mock seat, allocation is by September 20, 2022. Also, JoSAA 2022 registration's last date is September 21, 2022. The verification and validation process will take place on September 21, 2022, and the first round of allotment will be on September 23, 2022. • The applicant must visit the JoSAA 2022 official website at josaa.nic.in 
• They must look for the JoSAA registration tab and click on the link on the homepage.
• The applicants must log in for the registration using the credentials of JEE Main/ JEE Advanced.
• Here, the candidates will be redirected to the page which has pre-submitted details.
• Next, they must check the details and press the "submit" button.
• For the choice filling, the applicants must enter the preferred choices of institutes and courses from available options on the screen.
• Finish the locking of preferences before the last date of registration.

• Marksheet of Class 10 with qualifying scores.
• Marksheet of class 12 and the passing certificate
• JEE Main 2022 admit card
• Date of Birth certificate
• Candidate Category certificate (If applicable)
• PwD certificate (If applicable)
• Crossed bank cheque copy or copy of passbook account details
• Medical certificate (in the specified format prescribed by JoSAAs)
• Passport (If available)
