Union Human Resource Development Minister Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has stated that “The National Testing Agency (NTA) again extended the last date to apply the application forms for 6 entrance exams due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Application form submission deadlines have been extended for JNUEE 2020 (Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam) UGC-NET 2020 (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) CSIR UGC NET 2020 (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research UGC-NET) AIAPGET 2020 (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test) IGNOU OPENMAT 2020 (Indira Gandhi National Open University) and also for ICAR AIEEA 2020 (Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination)
Earlier, the last date to submit the application forms for the entrance exam was scheduled to 15th June 2020, But now candidates can apply the application form for the above mentioned entrance exams till 30th June 2020 and application form will be accepted with in 5:00 PM. According to the sources this the third time extending the last date to submit the application form. Candidates need to visit the respective portal and can apply the application form.
Application fees for the respective exams can be paid via online mode with in the last date 30th June 2020 by 11:50 PM. As per the notice candidates can pay through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI Pin etc.
As per the official notice, in view of many requests and representations from students and the hardship faced by the candidates due to Covid-19 pandemic, the NTA has extended the last date to apply for various exams. NTA further stated all the important dates regarding examinations, admit card availability will be updated soon on the official website of NTA (nta.nic.in.)
