Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has further extended the last date to submit the JMI application form 2020 for getting admission to the courses which are offered by JMI. The reason bind the extension of last date is due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country. Jamia Millia Islamia University application forms are available at the official website (jmi.ac.in.) candidates can apply the application form through online mode. JMI University application fee costs INR 700 and it can be paid via online mode.
As per the source, Last academic year more than 1 lakh candidates had applied the application form for the respective courses which are offered at JMI University. More than 7,000 candidates got selected for the admission at the university. To be noted, JMIU also offers residential coaching for the civil service examinations
According to the recent notice, Jamia Millia Islamia University has been decided to organize academic examinations via online mode for final year and final semester students. This decision is taken by the Standing Committee of JMI University due to the COVID-19 Lockdown situation in the country. According to the JMI University conducting offline exams are “nonviable”. University conducts online examination as per the guidelines which is prescribed under UGC (University Grant Commission)
