This year, the University has introduced several important changes to attract more NRI candidates, International students, and domestic aspirants. These changes include a reduction in tuition fees for SAARC applicants, new course additions, and an increase in the number of programs through CUET. The University has expanded CUET-based admissions and includes 25 overall programs. Last year, the CUET admissions were limited to 20.

CUET UG 2025: Increased Admissions And Programs

With the release of its academic perspective 2025, Jamia Millia Islamia has aligned more closely with the CUET UG 2025 for undergraduate admissions.

This is to provide equal opportunities for students across India. It increases the reach of the University. Last year, only 20 programs were accepted via CUET. However, for the academic session 2025, the University will accept 25 programs. This includes 9 UG, 5 PG, 8 diploma and 3 advanced diploma courses.

To improve student diversity and accessibility, JMI has expanded its entrance exam locations as well. This is done for various programs. Instead of travelling to Delhi for admissions, candidates can take entrance exams in eight centres across India. The centres will include Malegaon and Bhopal. This initiative will reduce Travel expenses and other logistical challenges for students. Thus, the admission process will be more inclusive and efficient.

JMI CUET Admission 2025: Application Process

Candidates who wants to get a seat to UG courses at JMI through CUET have first to finish the official JMI application process 2025. To complete it successfully, candidates need to fill out the form correctly and submit before the deadline. Step 2: Complete the Registration Process
