JEE Main Passing Marks

The schedule for the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam has been announced. The paper one exam will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29th. The exam will be conducted for Paper 1 in two shifts. The first shift timings will be 9 AM to 12 noon. Whereas, the second shift will be from 3 PM to 6 PM. Paper 2 will be held on January 30 and it will have only one shift from 3 PM to 6:30 PM. The application form for Session 2 will open on January 31.

The JEE Main 2025 exam will consist of three papers:

• Paper 1 will be for admission to B.Tech or BE courses. It will include Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from classes 11th and 12th.
• Paper 2A will be for admission to B.Arch courses. Paper 2A will include subjects like Maths, Aptitude Tests, and Drawing.
• Paper 2B will be for admission to B.Plan courses. Subjects included in this paper are Maths, Aptitude Test, and Planning based questions.

JEE Mains Passing Percentage 2025

The JEE Main passing mark is also known as the JEE Main 2025 qualifying cut-off. It has shown a consistent increase in trend across all categories in recent years. There are several determining factors for passing marks for JEE Main 2025. Check them below:

• One of the key factors is the number of students who appear for the exam. If more students appear for the exam, then the competition increases. This will eventually lead to higher cut-offs.
• Another important factor is the level of difficulty of the exam. If the exam is tough, the passing marks are generally lower. On the other hand, if the exam is easy, then the cut-off tends to be higher.

Expected JEE Mains 2025 Passing Marks

The minimum qualifying marks for JEE Main depend on the student's category. For general category students, the expected passing marks will be around 90. On the other hand, For students from the EWS category. The expected JEE Main cut-off will be around 80. Similarly, for reserved categories, student's scores are expected to be relatively lower.
