JEE Main 2024 Registration OPEN

The NTA has initiated the registration process for the JEE Main 2024. Students aiming to take the engineering entrance exam must complete and submit the JEE Main 2024 application form via the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in.

The JEE Main 2024 registration is scheduled from Nov 1 to 30. NTA will administer the JEE Main exam in two papers - BE, BTech, and BArch, BPlanning. The JEE Main 2024 information bulletin has also been made available on the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The NTA has revealed the JEE Main 2024 registration and results announcement dates. As per the schedule, students can access the JEE Main 2024 Results, which will be available on Feb 12 2024. Similar to the previous year, the examination will be offered in 13 languages.

Successful candidates will gain entry to NITs, IIITs, other CFTIs, and universities funded or recognized by participating state governments. Additionally, qualifying in this exam serves as eligibility for JEE (Advanced), which is required for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

NTA reduces application fees for JEE Main 2024

NTA has lowered the JEE Main 2024 application fees for foreign candidates applying for the JEE Main 2024. The registration process for the 2024-25 session has been altered. Aspiring engineers can access the JEE Main application form on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. Male and female candidates from the general EWS and OBC-NCL categories applying for centres outside India will now pay Rs 4,500 and Rs 4,000, respectively. The deadline for JEE Main 2024 registration is Nov 30.

• Digi locker accounts through the NAD portal.
• Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID) through the ABC ID.
• Indian passport number.
• Non-Indian passport number
• PAN card number.
• Aadhaar enrollment number.

Additionally, it stated that candidates who wished to register independently of DigiLocker or ABC ID would need to arrive at the testing location one hour before the start of the exam.

JEE Main 2024 Eligibility Criteria

JEE Main 2024 New Changes

According to the most recent information & booklet, some new modifications in JEE Main 2024 include the following:

• Applicants can register for the exam using a variety of login methods.
• A revision has been made to the application cost for certain courses and categories.
• NTA has trimmed the JEE Main 2024 Exam syllabus.
• This time, the brochure's distribution coincided with the announcement of the application dates for session 2.
• There are now 300 exam cities instead of 399.

JEE Main 2024 Registration Process

• The registration window will open twice - one in November for session 1 and another in February for session 2.
• There is only an online option for registration. We do not accept applications sent in offline mode.
• Students need to make sure they complete the application form accurately. Once it is submitted, it cannot be changed.
• Depending on their preferences, candidates may apply for both sessions or only one of them.
• Multiple application forms submitted will result in cancellation as they cannot be approved.
• Candidates must provide a single, reachable email address and mobile number when registering for JEE.
• Don't forget to attach your passport-size photo and signature to the application form for future reference.

JEE Main 2024 Correction Facility

The authorities will open the JEE Main application revision window following the completion of the registration procedure. Students will have the opportunity to edit their application form details once. For changing application details, only the online mode will be available. December 2023 will mark the opening of the correction window for Session 1. The correctional facility for Session 2 will open in April 2024.
