JEE Main 2024 is organized to admit students to various engineering programs, including BTech, BArch, and B Planning. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially disclosed its plan to administer the JEE Main 2024 examination in two separate sessions, scheduled for January and April. Also, authorities have announced the JEE Main 2024 Exam Dates for both sessions.
According to the NTA's exam calendar 2024, the JEE Main January 2024 session is scheduled for January 24 to February 1, while the April session is scheduled for April 1 to April 15.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) initiated the registration process for IIT JEE Main on December 15 of the previous year and extended the deadline until January 12. Interestingly, the NTA exam calendar for the upcoming academic session, released well in advance, did not include the specific registration date for JEE Main.
For the convenience of candidates, the NTA will soon make available the JEE Main 2024 application form and the information bulletin on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Alongside these resources, detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, application fees, and exam centre details will also be posted, along with the official JEE Main registration date for 2024.
Male candidates in the general, EWS, and OBC categories must pay a JEE Main 2024 application fee of Rs 1,000, while female applicants must pay Rs 800. Candidates in the SC, ST, PwD, and transgender categories, on the other hand, must pay a registration fee of Rs 500.
After passing JEE Main 2024, engineering candidates pursuing a BTech degree at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) must pass the JEE Advanced 2024 exam. Only candidates who placed in the top 2.5 lakh will be allowed to take the JEE Advanced exam in 2024.

JEE Main 2024 Registration Process
JEE Main 2024 application forms will probably be made available in December. There will be two sessions in January & April.
Candidates can submit their applications for the JEE Main using the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Candidates must also pay an application fee. Before submitting the application form, it is essential that the applicants thoroughly examine all the academic and personal information to prevent errors.
