A renowned National Level Engineering Entrance Exam, JEE Advanced 2025, is all set to commence. It is a Computer-Based Exam which is conducted by the IIT, Kanpur in the year 2025.

JEE Advanced 2025: Latest Updates
Recently, NTA, on its official website, released a notice about the increasing number of consecutive attempts for the National Level Exam JEE Advanced 2025. The attempt limit was amended from 2 attempts to 3 attempts consecutively. However, later in another official notice by the NTA, the limit was again turned back down, and the amendment was repealed.
Therefore, the students appearing for JEE Advanced 2025 shall ensure that this current attempt is their second attempt instead of their third and continue following the same rule which has been followed ever since 2013.
JEE Advanced 2025: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 varies from qualifying grade, appearing grade and much more. The foremost criterion for all the students is that they must have qualified JEE Mains 2025 Examination. Herein mentioned is the rest of the eligibility criteria to be necessarily followed by all the candidates applying for the same.
1. The candidate shall be appearing for their first or second attempt. Any attempt beyond that shall be unacceptable.
2. The candidate shall have never accepted any program or course at IIT.
3. Has cleared their 10+2 or equivalent exams in 2024 or will be appearing for the same in 2025 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their mandatory subjects.
4. The candidate shall be at least 18 years of age and have been born on or after October 1, 2000.
5. The reserved candidates have their age limit as being born on or after October 1, 1995.
JEE Advanced 2025 Registration Process
JEE Advanced 2025 Application Form will be out after the results of JEE Mains 2025 are out. Since JEE Mains 2025 sets out mandatory eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Advanced, the candidate aiming to apply for the same shall have necessarily cleared the primary examination.
The registration forms for JEE Advanced 2025 will be out in April 2025 and will close in May 2025 tentatively, depending upon the NTA’s Result Declaration of JEE Mains 2025.
