JECRC University is a private university established in 2012 by the JECRC Foundation National Society for Engineering, Research, and Development (NSERD). JECRC University is one of the top Universities in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has recognized the University, and NAAC and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) have accredited it. JECRC is one of the much-admired universities in the country. To date, JECRC has obtained more than 85 awards and reputable rankings/ratings for its academic excellence. As per the WEEK Survey, JECRC secured 9^th Rank among Best University In India. JECRC provides courses that the AICTE has authorized. JECRC has 11 Constituent Institutes that offer education in various streams such as Engineering, Management, Information Technology, Science, Hospitality & Hotel Management, Computer Applications, Mass Communication, Law, Design, and Allied Health Sciences.

Admission at JECRC University is based on the entrance test such as the CAT or MAT or XAT or JEE Mains, or CLAT or GATE, followed by group discussions and personal interviews. In addition, University also conducts its entrance test JECRC Entrance Test, for offering admission. To be eligible for admission, candidates must undertake respective entrance tests as per the course requirement.

JECRC University also received recognitions for their best placement assistance. As per JECRC 2021 Placement records, 847 students have received employment offers with a wage increase of 40% over the previous year. More than 140 students are offered a package of Rs. 7 LPA, and more than 360 students are offered a package of Rs. 5 LPA. Furthermore, in the second phase, Amazon gave packages worth Rs. 44 lakhs.
