The Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) is the University of Mumbai's Management Department. JBIMS' flagship course, the Masters in Management Studies (MMS), is a two-year full-time program. Besides, the institute offers a Masters in Finance (MSc Finance), a Master in Human Resource Development (MHRDM), part-time MMS, and a PhD programme. 

Admission at JBIMS' for MMS and M.Sc. Finance programmes are based on MAH-CET and CAT results. At the same time, JBIMS administers a written test for MHRD admission. The institute also conducts an In-Person Assessment that includes WAT, Group Activity and PI rounds for final selection.

JBIMS offers MMS in five disciplines. The duration of the course is two years. The eligibility criteria is as required:

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for reserved categories and PwD candidates in Maharashtra state).
  • The MAH CET, MAT, CMAT or CAT entrance exam scores determine admission to the MMS at JBIMS. Candidates will be shortlisted based on entrance test performance.

JBIMS Mumbai Cutoff

To be shortlisted, candidates must satisfy the JBIMS cutoff percentile. MMS cutoffs in JBIMS vary for each different exam. JBIMS Mumbai cutoff OBC will be lesser compared to the general category. Whereas the expected JBIMS CET Cutoff is 99/95+Therefore, applicants must review the cutoff details before filling out the admission form of JBIMS. Shortlisted candidates must undergo in-personal assessment: WAT, GD and PI Rounds. By considering overall performance, admission will be provided. JBIMS MHRD Expected Cutoff 2025

Master in Human Resource Development is a two-year full-time management programme offered by the institute (MHRD). Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree (minimum of 3 years) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category students) as eligibility criteria for MHRD at JBIMS. Shortlisted candidates must take a Written Test (WT) and an In-Person Assessment (IPA), which includes a Written Aptitude Test (WAT), a Group Activity (GA), and a Personal Interview (PI). To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the JBIMS MHRD Cutoff. The acceptable entrance test scores are CAT or MAHCET.
