IPU CET 2025 Application Form

GGSIPU has released the IPU CET 2025 application form on its official website. You can fill out the form from February 2025, to March 2025. The University also announced the IPU CET 2025 Exam Date. The IPU CET exam is set to happen between April 2025, and May 2025, for various courses, and it will be done in offline mode. Make sure to check if you meet the admission criteria before applying, and read through the GGSIPU admission brochure available on the official website for all the details.

IPU CET is a test for those who want to join the BTech program through lateral entry, specifically for diploma holders and BSc graduates. The exam also covers BTech in Bio-Technology. To be noted, IPU CET is not conducted for four-year B Tech except for the Biotechnology stream. For the remaining streams, applicants must appear for JEE Main.

After taking the exam, the IPU CET 2025 results are expected to be out in June 2025. You can check your results on the IPU CET 2023 University website in a PDF format. The IPU CET 2025 Counselling is planned for August and September. To join, you need to pay counseling participation and registration fees. You can find the results of the counseling rounds on the official website. Seats are allotted based on the scores from the entrance test during the IPU counseling in 2025.

IPU CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have finished their 10+2/HSC at a recognized university or board. Applicants must get at least 50% marks.
  • The candidate's age shall not exceed 21 years on August 1, 2025.
  • Candidates may be Indian or non-Indian citizens. International applicants must present documentation linked to their nationality.
  • Candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Widows or Wards of Defense Personnel, and Persons with Disabilities will be permitted a 5% relaxation of marks.

How to apply for IPU CET 2025

Step 1: IPU CET 2025 Registration Form

  • Go to the Candidate Activity Board and select " IPU CET Registration 2025" under New Candidate Registration.
  • Provide information and generate a User ID and PASSWORD for future logins.

Step 2: IPU CET 2025 Application Form.

  • Log in using the User ID & Password you generated to complete the form, which includes personal information, test city selection, and document uploads.
  • Follow the criteria for picture and document uploads.

Step 3: IPU CET 2025 Application Fee Payment

  • Pay the examination fee online.
  • Please keep in mind that processing charges and GST apply, and the money is non-refundable.
  • Make sure you fill out a separate form for each program/course you apply for.
  • Save the system-generated Application Number for future reference.
  • Important instructions for the user ID and password:
  • Choose a safe User ID and Password and keep them secret.
  • Log out of each session to avoid illegal access.
  • User ID: 5 to 15 characters, including alphabets, digits, and dots.
  • Password: 8 to 13 characters, including capital, lowercase, numeric, and special characters.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of both the user ID and the password.

IPU CET 2025 Exam Pattern

Understanding the IPU CET 2025 exam pattern is important for those aiming to get into BTech lateral entry and BTech (Biotechnology) programs. The exam is for Lateral Entry to BTech programs for Diploma holders (Code 128), Lateral Entry to BTech programs for BSc Graduates (Code 129), and BTech (Bio-Technology) (Code 130).

Once the results are out, the counseling process for these programs will take place. Admissions to the GGSIPU Courses will be made through IPU CET 2025 counseling.
