• Self-sponsored candidates: These candidates come to IMI Kolkata as recent graduates or those who have left their employment after a while. Based on their best efforts, they receive placement assistance from the Institute's placement unit.
• Company-sponsored candidates: Applications from candidates sponsored by companies are accepted at IMI Kolkata.
