IGNOU Admission 2024-25 July Session Now Registration Extended

As per the latest update, IGNOU has extended its registration for its July admission 2024. Earlier, the closing date for re-registration or fresh registration for the July session was August 31, 2024. IGNOU has been ranked as number 1 by NIRF in their newly opened category, Open University. Usually, the admission cycle in IGNOU will be held in January and July. This admission is for the online and distance learning programs.  

The online IGNOU courses include BBA, MBA, MCA, MA and PG Diploma with respective specializations. Under IGNOU ODL courses, it offers BA, BCA, MA, Diploma and certification programs with different specializations.   

As fresh applicants, students must enter all their details as mentioned in their educational records. Even if there are slight changes, the application may not be verified. Only with the help of a registered email ID can applicants log in to the website for IGNOU admission 2024. Thus, the university suggests that the students use their active email IDs.

How to register for IGNOU July session 2024:

Here are the simple steps that the applicants need to follow while registering for the IGNOU July application form 2024:

  • Students  must visit the authorized website of IGNOU at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
  • Students will see the new registration link or tab on the webpage. Click on that.
  • To begin with, students must choose a user name, which should be between 8 and 16 characters. That needs to be unique and strong.
  • Next, they must enter their full name as given in their previous educational records and documents.
  • Further, candidates must create a password that is alphanumeric with up to 16 characters.
  • Then, they must provide valid contact details, such as a phone number, email ID, residential address, etc., using the IGNOU login.
  • When a mobile number is entered, a verification code will be sent to the applicants.
  • Later, candidates must enter the course details that they want to join and proceed to pay the IGNOU admission fee.
  • Before making the final submission, candidates are suggested to recheck all the entered details and then click on the submit button before the IGNOU admission last date 2024.
  • In the end, the applicants must download the application form and the confirmation page.
  • Further, the candidates can check the admission updates using their username and password.

Some of the list of documents that students need to keep ready before applying for IGNOU admissions in specified formats is given below:

  • 2 scanned photos that are less than 100 KB in file size.
  • Scanned signature of the candidate in less than 100 KB size
  • Digital copies of all the education qualification certificates are in a file size of less than 200 KB.
  • Previous work experience certificate (if applicable) in scanned format with less than 200 KB file size.
  • Category certificate (if applicable) in scanned format with less than 200 KB file size.
