The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the official notice of exam dates for the COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2025. The entrance exam is important for students who want to secure admission to engineering programs offered by various private colleges in Karnataka. The exam is a pathway for aspiring applicants to pursue a BE or B.Tech degrees at top engineering colleges in Karnataka. COMEDK UGET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To go for the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam, students have to meet the following eligibility criteria for Engineering Courses (BE/BTech):

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should have cleared or should be writing their second Pre-University Course (PUC), Class 12th, or any other equivalent exam of the State or Central Government.
  • Physics, Chemistry, English and Maths are compulsory subjects in their last two years of study.

Minimum Marks:

  • General Merit Candidates: Should have secured a minimum total mark of 45 % in Physics Chemistry, and Maths with individual subject marks.
  • SC, ST, and OBC candidates from Karnataka: Should have secured a minimum 40% passing percentage in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths put together.

Compulsory Subjects:

  • Physics and Maths are required subjects to appear for the exam.
  • One of the following subjects can be chosen as an optional subject by candidates: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics.

Diploma Candidates:

  • Diploma candidates won't be able to write the COMEDK UGET exam 2025 as there exist no provisions for lateral entry admissions.

Entrance Exam Requirement:

  • Attempt in COMEDK Entrance Test is compulsory to be included in the rank list for admission in to engineering programs.

Documents Required to Fill COMEDK UGET 2025 Application

Candidates must have the following scanned documents ready before starting the application process:

  • Passport-sized photograph (it must be recent and coloured)
  • Scanned signature of the student
  • Class 10 mark sheet (it is for age proof)
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Valid ID proof (Aadhaar card or, PAN card or Passport, etc.)
  • Caste certificate (for applicable students only)
  • PWD certificate (for applicable students only)

COMEDK UGET 2025 Application Process: Step by Step Guide on How to Finish the Application Form

Engineering course aspiring students can fill out the COMEDK 2025 application form available on the official website. The application process includes registration, completing the form, submitting the documents as well as making the payment. The application form for COMEDK will only be available online. The COMEDK 2025 application form's last date is on March 15, 2025. All the students must take ample time to read all the details as they fill out their forms. Step 1: Go to the official COMEDK webpage

Step 2: Register as a New User

  • On the homepage, candidates have to select on "New User Registration" option.
  • Applicants need first to enter basic information about themselves, such as name, date of birth, email ID and mobile number.
  • Choose a password and remember not to share it with anyone or let others know your login information.

Step 3: Fill in Academic and Personal Details

  • After logging in, students have to enter some personal information, including the address, nationality, category, etc.
  • Students have to enter details related to academic qualifications, including marksheets of class 10, class 12 and other relevant qualifications.

Step 4: Choose Preferred Exam Centers

  • Students will now have a choice to choose the cities they prefer for their exams. They can rank their preferred three cities. The last provision will be given on the basis of availability.

Step 5: Upload Required Documents

Students have to upload scanned copies of the documents mentioned here:

  • Passport-size photo
  • Signature
  • Identity Proof (Aadhaar, PAN card, Passport, or Voter ID)
  • Caste/Category Certificate

Step 6: Pay the Application Fee

  • Students will then have to pay the COMEDK UGET application fee. The fee structure is as follows:
