Goa CET 2023 Registration

Goa Directorate of Technical Education started the Goa CET 2023 Registration Process. Interested and eligible students can visit the official website (@ goacet. in) to register online. The last date to apply for GCET 2023 is 20 April 2023. It is advised to the students to submit the GCET 2023 application forms before the deadline. The varsity has also announced the Goa CET 2023 Exam Dates. According to the schedule, it will be conducted on May 13 and 14.

The Goa Common Admission Test (GCET) is a state-level entrance test. Students who qualify in the exam can get admission to degree programmes in engineering and pharmacy (BE, B.Pharm) in colleges in the State of Goa. The application fee for the GCET 2023 is INR 2,000. Candidates who have taken, passed, or will take the Class 12 science test or an equivalent exam may apply for the GCET exam in 2023.

• Visit the GCET's official website at www.goacet.in.
• Utilize your email address to sign up, then fill out the GCET 2023 exam form.
• Complete the application. Select the subjects, add your signature, and upload a photo.
• Then candidates are required to pay the GCET 2023 application fees.

GCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for admission through GCET 2023 Exam, candidates are required to make sure of the eligibility criteria.

• The candidate must be an Indian national. Candidates who are NRIs, OCIs, or PIOs may submit applications under the NRI category.
• Candidates must take Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational in addition to the required courses of Physics and Mathematics.
• Marks: The candidate must receive at least 45% of the possible points in 10+2 (45% for SC/ST candidates).

GCET 2023 Admit Card

The authority will soon announce the Goa CET 2023 admit card release date. Candidates who have registered successfully will be able to download the admit card.

• Students who submit their GCET 2023 applications form on time will receive an admit card.
• The admit card is made available by DTE Goa via dte.goa.gov.in.
• Only those students who arrive at the exam centre on exam day with their GCET admit card and other appropriate documentation are permitted entry.
• Therefore, before the exam date, candidates should download their admit cards.
• The GCET 2023 hall ticket includes information on the exam date, time, location, and rules.

GCET 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates must review the exam pattern before starting the exam preparation.

• Exam format: The GCET 2023 exam will only be conducted offline.
• Total Questions: There will be 75 questions total on each paper.
• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of various types will be present in the test.
• The exam will last two hours, including time to complete the paper.
• Marking system: The applicant will receive 1 mark for each accurate response.
• Negative Marking: The exam will not be subject to negative marking.

GCET 2023 Syllabus

The Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education's class 12th (Science) curriculum is used as the basis for the Goa CET syllabus. The following are key points from each subject:

• Physics: electrostatics, current electricity, the dual nature of matter and radiation, atoms and nuclei, electronic devices, communication systems, magnetic effects of current and magnetism, electromagnetic induction and alternating currents &  electromagnetic waves.
• Chemistry: the study of the solid state, solutions, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, surface chemistry, general principles and processes for isolating elements, D and F block elements, coordination compounds, haloalkanes, haloarenes, alcohols, phenols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, and carboxylic acids, as well as organic compounds containing nitrogen.
• Mathematics: Relationships and functions, algebra, calculus, vectors and three-dimensional geometry, linear programming, probability, etc.

GCET 2023 Counselling

Candidates must register to participate in the Goa CET 2023 counselling procedure. The final submission deadline for the counselling form will be announced later. The seat allocation is done by the merit of the candidates, their chosen options, and seat availability.

Candidates who are given seats during any round of counselling must report to the institution to which they have been assigned seats within three working days and acquire acknowledgement; else, their admission will be revoked.
