GATE 2021 Registration Portal To Reopen On October 28 For Choosing Exam City
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay once again reopens the GATE 2021 application window for changing the choice of examination city on October 28. Candidates who have been assigned the GATE 2021 application form but need to choose the exam city will be provided to fill the choose the city. The process will take place online mode that is in the official website portal gate.iitb.ac.in.
GATE 2021 will be held on February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14. GATE 2021 admit cards will be made available from January 8, 2021 a month prior the examination.
Candidates who have registered for GATE 2021 before October 7 that is the last date to apply will be able to edit the application form on the GOAPS online registration portal. Although, the last date to apply for the exam is 7 October applicants by paying a late fee of INR 500 can submit the filled form till October 12. A onetime chance will be given to change the Choice of City for GATE 2021 only for the successfully registered candidates without any extra fee and is given till Friday November 13, 2020. After 10 days the examination official Answer keys will be released and in the month of March 2021 results will be declared.
Candidates will be able to change their examination city from October 28 to November 13, without any additional fee. IIT Bombay said that candidates can also edit their paper choices and category by paying an additional fee of INR 500 for each change.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level exam conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven IITs at Delhi, Bombay, Kanpur, Guwahati, Madras, Kharagpur and Roorkee. The GATE examination is conducted online mode that is Computer Based Test (CBT).
