GATE 2021 Application form correction window will be available from 28th October
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will open the GATE 2021 application form correction window link from 28th October 2020.Candidates who wish to modify the details in the GATE 2021 application can make it with in the last date that is on 13th November 2020.In order to access the GATE 2021 application correction window, candidates required to login through GOAPS portal by using their enrolment ID/Email Address and Password which was generated during GATE 2021 application process.
For all the registered candidates for GATE 2021 entrance exam, admission authority will inform about their errors/defects in their respective application form through Email or SMS. Such candidates who are having defect in their submitted application forms, must rectify the errors in GATE 2021 application form or else application form may get rejected by the concerned admission authority. However, candidates required to pay the certain amount of fees in order to make changes in the application form which costs INR 750
According to the notification, IIT Bombay have also provided the opportunity for the successfully registered candidates to change their exam city according to their preferences. Only one chance will be offered for the candidates to make the correction. Hence, candidates can choose the exam city as per the preference with in 13th November 2020.
Check out the following steps in order to make correction/Edit in GATE 2021 application form
Step 1: At first, candidates required to log on for the GOAPS Website.
Step 2: Candidates required to enter the Enrolment ID or Email Address and Password in order to make changes in application form
Step 3: Then, click on “Edit GATE 2021 Application”, candidates can proceed to make correction/edit in the form and can choose the exam city as per the preference.
Step 4: After editing the form, candidates required to preview once and the save the application form
Step 5: Later, candidates can submit the application form and can proceed to pay the stipulated GATE 2021 application form correction fees.
