The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) have been postponed the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). Earlier, EFPO was scheduled to be conducted on October 4th 2020 when Civil Services exam was scheduled in May, but as per the revised schedule now will be held on May 9, 2021. The recruitment exam is conducted for selection to Accounts Officer/ Enforcement Officer in the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
The UPSC EPFO exam will be held for duration of 2 hours and all the questions in the paper carry equal marks. Prior 15 days before the exam date UPSC EFPO admit card will be released. The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answers will be given - in English and Hindi. Candidates qualifying the written test will be called for interview. The weightage of the exam marks is divided into two parts where exam marks and interview round performance is considered in the ratio of 75:25. Further the selected candidates will on a probation period of 2 years.
Candidates who have successfully completed the application process will be able to download the UPSC EPFO admit card after releasing on the official website. The mode of exam is offline that is pen-paper based also there is negative marking of 1/3 for each incorrect answer.
Through this examination a total of 421 vacancies will be filled out of 421 seats the vacancy of seats for Scheduled Castes (SC) is 62, Scheduled Tribes (ST) is 33, OBC 116, UR 168 and EWS 42 seats. The UPSC EPFO AO/EO will be entitled to receive the salary under Level – 8 in the pay matrix as per the 7th pay commission. Apart from this there are also several perks and allowances.
