DU Second Special Cutoff List Released

Delhi University (DU) has announced the second special cutoff list (based on merit) on December 20, 2020 at the official website. Candidates who are selected can confirm admission from 21-22 December. 

The university issued press release on December 18, that says vacant seats for the eligible candidates will be displayed on the official website by 10 AM of December 21. The seats may vary if the candidates cancel admission or are addressed in certain circumstances.

Delhi University reads, The Cut-Off for various courses available under each category for a college would be admitting students under 2nd Special Cut-Off will be available on the website of University of Delhi by 21st Dec 2020 (Mon)”.

The university mentioned that  students who did not receive seats through the First Special Cutoff List which was declared on December 14 will not be allowed to apply again and students who have been admitted through NCWEB Cut Off List will not be allowed as well. 

How to Check Second Special Cutoff of DU Cut 2020

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to check DU Second Special Cutoff list:

Step 1: Candidates will have to visit the official website of Delhi University.

Step 2: Candidates will have to click on the admission link.

Step 3: Once the tab is open candidates will have to click on the UG Admission Portal 2020 tab.

Step 4: Check the Second Special Cutoff on the page

Step 5: A pdf file will appear on the home page

Step 6: Candidates will have to check the details and download it for future reference. 

Important Instructions of DU Second Special Cutoff 2020

Candidates who are seeking admission through DU Second Special Cutoff 2020 will have to follow the steps give below:

• Applicants who are applying for DU Second Special Cutoff 2020 can apply for a single course and college combination.
• The university will choose best of Four/Three for that course if the number of applicants are more than the number of seats.
• There will be tie-breaking rule if there is a tie
• The university will not guarantee admission only on based on applying for the DU second special cutoff 2020.
• If the candidates have not paid application fees or if there is something wrong with application form the university will not entertain any grievances.
• Candidates who are from Reserved category they will have to submit supporting documents, no additional provisions will be offered.
